    “Of course, you will have our full cooperation. Tina I’m very sorry that I didn’t come to you first.” The apology was wasted on Tina. She’d already given him a piece of her mind when they spoke earlier. He knew he was out of a job and he could thank his friend Aaron for screwing

    “Of course, you will have our full cooperation. Tina I’m very sorry that I didn’t come to you first.” The apology was wasted on Tina. She’d already given him a piece of her mind when they spoke earlier. He knew he was out of a job and he could thank his friend Aaron for screwing him. Tina dismissed him, then pressed the button on the console to disconnect his line. The screen in his quadrant went black. Max and the two lawyers just sat back waiting to see what Tina would do next. If she ever had to consider another career they thought she would make an imposing prosecutor.

    “Sally can you tell us how you got involved? Since you accompanied Aaron to my hotel room at 8:30 that morning I imagine he recruited you to help him ‘handle’ it or me as the case may be?” Tina asked turning to her assistant. There was no hostility in her tone. She completely trusted that Sally would not have done anything intentional to hurt her.

    Sally cleared her throat before speaking. ”Aaron called my hotel room a bit after 8:00am so I assume it was right after he’d hung up with Andy. I was half-asleep when I picked up the phone, and he just started yelling. I wasn’t even sure who it was. I thought someone had the wrong number and threatened to hang up when he finally calmed down and identified himself. He told me what was wrong, and asked me to contact the shift managers at both the Los Angeles and Canada labs to get copies of the faxes. The Canada office agreed to fax it right away to the hotel business center. The Los Angeles office took a bit longer, but they both produced similar faxes under your signature that instructed them to release the negatives to the messenger service. I assured Aaron that this had to be a mistake. You and I had not talked about changing the established procedure so I couldn’t explain the faxes. Aaron got mad and started yelling again and accusing me of protecting you. That’s when he headed to your room and started banging on the door. I tried to call you before he got there but it took you a while to answer the phone.”

To go thru all that she has and still believe that some people are trustworthy and to find out they are not was truly the eye-opener TINA needed to see.TINA came into that ring and bitch slapped those three stooges(larry,curly,and moe)like she was MMA. She showed up and showed out,YES!!.Thinking she would go down without a fight was a HUGE mistake .A woman who stood to lose not only her good name and livelihood but a career she neglected her family for in the process is a dangerous adversary if crossed and that is the one crucial element they forgot to take into account.Now on to the next thrilling episode of TINA and the three stooges.GET’EM.Worth the wait and then some.THANKS,ps.

    7. Left a comment Sunday night, don’t know what happened to it. Said it posted, evidently not. Had said that I agree totally with “dunnthat.” Liked the chapter a lot and you know how much I like Tina, especially when she is ticked off. Just glad she was able to keep her cool and scared the hell out of all those a–holes. With her parting shot at them they don’t know what to think now. Hopefully Bettes’ investigator and attorney can find eric and slap them all in jail. Maybe now one of them will slip up and make that one mistake that will catch them all. For some damned reason they don’t think Tina is smart enough to filter the clues. Hope they can put all of them so far back in a cell, daylight will have to be piped to them. The crooked S.O.B.’s. Thanks for the chapter. Waiting not too patiently for the next one.

        • Sharon, I realize it’s been a couple of years but this story hasn’t been laid to rest yet. I will be back with a conclusion. I just got distracted with another story called Daddy that was on my heart so I had to write it. Thank you for the poke. I will see where I am and revive it soon.

      In this very different World we live in today I have done a complete re-read of this Story!

      Needless to say I have enjoyed it immensely!

      Please, please write a Conclusion for us even if you make it an Epilogue!

      Your Storytelling and the way you write is superb BAT please do not leave us without an ending, it is cold and windy on this Cliffhanger here in Canada :-)

    13. Hi BAT2012, I have been rereading a lot of great fiction about B & T and came across yours. I immediately remembered this one. It’s been 3 almost 4 years since you’ve posted. I got myself all fired up and then was left without closure. Please I need to know how Kate, Eric, Mark, and William get caught, and how Bette, Tina, Alex, and the rest of the family deal with the fallout. How does life get better when they get back to their day to day lives? I am still reading the rest of your work, but would love to see this one come to fruition. Please post soon.
