    The Tower Of Learning

    Kit: Hey Baby sis.

    Tina looked up.

Alice: Say hey to Bette for us!

    Kit nodded.

Kit: The girls say hey…. She says hey back.

    Shane nodded.

Kit:…. No tomorrow night I got a thing going on at The Planet…. We’ll yeah, Tina, Alice, Shane, Jenny, Max, Helena I think…. I’ll put it in the mail in the morning then…. Okay Okay fine…. Talk to you later.

    Kit hung up.

Kit: I swear she actually sounds happy tonight.

    Shane smiled softly.

Shane: Isn’t that a good thing?

    Kit: I don’t know.

    Alice: Kit, truth or dare?

Kit looked at Alice who smiled.

Kit: Ohh I’ll be rebellious, dare.

Alice: Go buy a plane ticket, and go visit Bette.

Kit smiled and nodded her hand.

Kit: I should. I’ll look into it tomorrow.

Bette sat on the plane curious as to what was to come; she knew how to make an entrance that was for certain. Waltzing into The Planet after a short nap to see her friends and family. She laughed to herself and looked around.

She was almost asleep when the plane took off and throughout her rest, she dreamt about Tina. And how it would be like to see her again. Then Angie popped into her mind. Her baby girl. The most beautiful baby girl she had ever seen.

    12:35 a.m., May, 17th, 2010

Tina stood by the door and leaned against the door frame.

Tina: I’ll see you guys tomorrow night!

Tina waved as her last visitor, Alice, left.

Alice: I’ll call you tomorrow T!

Tina smiled and closed the door. She turned around and looked at her empty house. The house that her and Bette shared…She’s not here anymore Tina, and she isn’t coming back either, keep reminding yourself that…Tina thought sadly as she made her way through the living room and down the hall way. She peaked into her daughter’s bedroom and saw Angie sleeping like an angel in her bed. She was four years old. Tina wandered into the bedroom and climbed in next to Angie who instinctually snuggled up against her. This is where Tina often slept, in the bed with Angie. She couldn’t sleep well in her own bed because she was alone. She wasn’t used to sleeping in that big bed that held so many beautiful memories alone.

    1. I’m afraid I did, I decided to start fresh and focus everything on one. Sorta like a painting, don’t do five at once, it doesn’t work, just do one at a time and focus all your creativity on your current project.

    2. “How very Bette Porter of me.” LOL I loved it. This is a really great idea. I like your other story, too, but I have to say, it can get frustrating then you’re not getting the results you can get with a good ol’ Tibette… still, keep plugging away ’cause I like that one, too!
