    The Tower Of Learning

When she woke up in the morning she noticed she was alone, she looked over at Angie’s Beauty and the Beast clock and saw it was 8:36 a.m., she smiled and got up, going down the hall way and seeing Angie sitting cross legged on the floor watching her shows. Angie sensed that her mom was near so she looked and saw her mom leaning against the hall way wall. Tina walked forward and picked up Angie and gave her a tight hug.

Bette woke up slowly, looking around the hotel room. Everything was bright and cheerful. White everything filled this room. Bette still felt tired but she also felt excited and energized. She got up and got dressed, before hand taking a long and relaxing shower. She walked down to the lobby and through the front door. She already had rental car parked in the parking lot which she walked to. Seeing it for technically the first time since she was dead tired the first time she drove it was amusing.

Bette: A convertible Saab. How very Bette Porter of me.

She spoke aloud while laughing to herself. She walked around and got in the driver seat, putting the top down and pulling out of the lot, feeling refreshed with the wind blowing through her brunette curls. She drove around, reminding herself of everything. She absentmindedly called Alice.

    Alice: Heya.

    Bette: Hey Al.

Alice: Heyyy B, how are you?

Bette: I’m great, how are you?

Alice: Well, you know, the usual.

    Bette laughed.

Alice: You seem like you’re in a really good mood.

Bette: I am in a really good mood.

Bette looked up realizing she was in West Hollywood. She drove slowly while talking to Alice, then she noticed a blonde, thin figure walked passed Tower Records holding a cell phone. She couldn’t help it. She pulled in a loop and got out of her car and started walking behind the woman.

    Alice: So where are you?

Bette: Oh you know, out and about. I’m taking a break right now.

Alice: Oh yeah? What you doing other than talking to me?

Bette laughed loud at the question and the blonde stopped right in her tracks.

    Bette: Turn around Al.

Alice slowly turned around, still holding the phone to her ear. She saw Bette standing behind her only about ten feet away.

    Alice: OH MY FUCKING GOD!!

Alice ran to Bette and threw her arms around her neck… Bette held Alice who immediately started crying.

Alice: You asshole, why are you hear?!

Bette: I missed you too Al.

    1. I’m afraid I did, I decided to start fresh and focus everything on one. Sorta like a painting, don’t do five at once, it doesn’t work, just do one at a time and focus all your creativity on your current project.

    2. “How very Bette Porter of me.” LOL I loved it. This is a really great idea. I like your other story, too, but I have to say, it can get frustrating then you’re not getting the results you can get with a good ol’ Tibette… still, keep plugging away ’cause I like that one, too!
