    The tears were now flowing freely down Alice’s face, and somehow in her rambling, Dana had failed to notice them. Finally, when she finished talking, she noticed the wetness on Alice’s face and felt herself welling up. She could tell from Alice’s face that they were happy tears, but she still felt the need to

    The tears were now flowing freely down Alice’s face, and somehow in her rambling, Dana had failed to notice them. Finally, when she finished talking, she noticed the wetness on Alice’s face and felt herself welling up. She could tell from Alice’s face that they were happy tears, but she still felt the need to ask why Alice was crying. She reached up and wiped the tears from Alice’s cheeks and stared deep into her big brown eyes.

    Dana: Al, why are you crying?

    Alice: I love you.

    Dana: You’re crying because you love me? Way to boost my self-esteem, Al.

    They chuckled at Dana’s playfulness in a serious moment, which just gave Alice more reasons to love Dana. Dana took Alice’s hands in her own and led her to the living room. Once they were sat down, Alice resumed her explanation.

    Alice: I’m crying because I love you. Because I’ve never loved anyone like i love you. I don’t think I could live if I didn’t have you, and hearing you say all those things made me emotional. I bet I look like an idiot right now, don’t i?

    Dana: Not at all, baby. You look like a beautiful raccoon, that just needs loving.

    Once again, they laughed at the way Dana could lighten up such a serious moment between the couple.

    Alice: How do you do that, Dane?

    Dana: Do what?

    Alice: Make me laugh, even when I’m trying to be serious?

    Dana: I don’t know, I guess I’m just humorous.

    Dana lifted her arm and pointed to her elbow, causing Alice to burst out laughing. Even if she wanted to be serious in that moment, the goofiness in Dana was causing Alice to fail in all seriousness right now.

    Alice: I love you so much, Dana.

    Dana: I love you too, Al. I really do. I’ve been thinking.

    Alice: It didn’t hurt did it?

    Dana: Fuck you.

    They smiled at each other before they became serious again. Alice noticed the sudden nervousness in her girlfriend and reached out to stroke the side of her face, brushing a strand of fallen hair out of her face.

    Alice: What is it, Dane?

    Dana: I was thinking… maybe it’s time… to… you know…

    Alice: I thought we just talked about that?

    1. Very nice chapter, of course, it is strange that they were on vacation in such a weird place, but my question is will Lara find where they are? what did really happen to her? how she survived the fight with Aidan? which side is Aidan and what are his intentions?
