“What do you mean I’m going to be an Aunt?!” her voice carrying right to Tina’s ears

Tina looked back at Bette who had resumed making her omelettes

“Hayden is telling Angie now” Tina chuckles

Bette shakes her head “She is probably going to be worse on him than we are”

Tina looks back at Angie who is pacing back and forth waving her free hand around.

“Well she is in pacing mode so I would say she is at level 3 with him”

“Level 3 is her lecture mode” Bette adds folding her omelette over

Tina takes a sip of her coffee and moves back toward the kitchen table “She and Morgan are coming in now.  Get prepared”

Bette scoffs “I’m past the point of possibly being prepared for anything anymore after this morning”

Angie storms inside the kitchen with Morgan right behind her

“What the hell were those two thinking? I mean they have a baby on the way and live in college dorms.  And neither one of them can support a baby financially because they have nothing lined up after they graduate” Angie rants while Tina sips her coffee and Bette continues to cook her omelettes.  Angie looks between the two of them

“So you both are ok with this?”

Tina shakes her head “I wouldn’t say we are ok with it but it isn’t going to do us any good to get upset over it.  I mean it is what it is..We just have to take it day by day”

Angie looks at Bette who hasn’t said a word or turned around since she came in

“Mama B?..You aren’t saying anything”

Bette sighs “Bug?.. I’m too old to be blowing my gasket about something I can’t change.  Lexie is pregnant and Hayden is the father.  We will just have to take it one day at a time like your Mama said”

Angie folds her arms and scoffs “I’m surprised Aunt Alice hasn’t called you” she questions looking at Tina who takes another sip of her coffee before setting it down

“I’m sure we will hear from her soon” Tina says just as her phone vibrates “Speak of the Devil” Tina says as Bette turns around to look at her
