    “Well what if she brings up the custody plan?”

    “We don’t tell her. We don’t want her to know that we’re going for sole custody until we file our brief.”

    “I know.”

    “Okay?”

    “Okay.”

    “I changed my mind. I don’t want you to adopt my daughter. Henry and I are thinking of starting a family and we want Angelica to be a full part of that.”

    Bette glared at the man sitting next to her soon to be ex-wife. It took all of Bette’s willpower not to slap the smug look from his pasty white face when Tina emphasized her statement by taking his hand.

    Henry wasn’t the first man that Tina had been attracted to. As a matter of fact she’d only ever been with men before meeting and committing to Bette Porter nineyears earlier, but nothing could have prepared the mocha beauty for the shock of discovering that the love of her life was once again harboring feelings for men.

    There was nothing that Bette could do except set her wife free to explore those feelings; now here she was six months later having lost her wife to a man and now being threatened with losing her daughter too.

    “Don’t do this Tina. I’m warning you.” Those were the last words that Bette uttered before she stormed out of the reception hall where the wedding was to take place.

    “Where are they?

    Tina was in a panic when she opened her hotel room door and found it empty and dark. She’d left Angie with a sitter and was afraid that something had happened. She usually didn’t leave Angie with strangers but both she and Bette had carefully screened the woman before entrusting their daughter to her care. She’d had glowing references from the hotel staff and other families so Tina couldn’t imagine why the woman wasn’t present and where was her baby? Panic turned to rage when Henry found the note on the dresser from the sitter advising that Angie was with her other mother.

    2. This was really a wonderful read! I couldn’t stop and kept nodding my head as Bette narrated the story, totally agreeing with her on so many points. Thank you for going so deep…wow…really great story!

    3. This story is begging for more chapters. I like how you dissect and construct Bette’s reasons for the kidnapping. The reasons are very developed and reasonable. Nicely done!

      me agradaria que hubiera un desenlace alternativo,mas en consonancia con la actitud que amaron mucho y que el rencor oscurecio el panorama.Cuando hemos amado sin remedio a pesar de nosotros mismos,una palabra,un simple roce puede ser la chispa para volver a ser el amador t ser capaz de voltear todas las afrentas y olvidar para poder ser…solo Tina y Bette.

      EN LA VIDA DE LOS AMANTES ES FRECUENTE PORQUE AME MUCHO ME PERDI PERO VOLVI….

This story was heartbreaking but so honest, Tina should have ask bette to carry the baby though I mean why go through all the adoption and judgment crap, but Bette character is not the pregnant type but I mean how hot was JB on season 3 pregnant nice glow…anyways please continue loved your story..you are added to my top favorites

God, I think I have a bit of freedom – maybe 28 hours to run Bette off road somewhere- interesting ideas you have put into your stories, my friend.     11. Hey Bat, I love your stories as they always contain such quality to the way you place your words down so eloquently. The stories lately have been so good and I love spending time diving into them. I agree as this story could do with a few more chapters.
