The energy between was in high gear again and it was even more obvious than before, making Tina so nervous that she dropped the keys. They both reached down for them at the same time and their faces brushed against each others and the touch was more than either could fight. Tina pulled Bette into a kiss, releasing the butterflies within. Bettes mouth moving in sync with Tinas remembering the taste of her and way she always managed to leave her breathless. Bette wrapped her arms around Tinas waist and held on for dear life. The feeling was sublime and more than Bette could have imagined would have ever happened. Tina felt herself drift away into a place she thought no longer existed and continued to give in to the oral bliss.

Bettes hand reached up for Tinas face and she held it close to hers as she slowly unlocked her lips from Tinas, making her gasp for air as she felt the coolness of Bettes breath tickle her lips. Bettes breathing was fast and shallow, and she could feel her heart racing in her chest. Tina stepped back and turned slightly away from Bette as uneasiness wedged between them. Bette opened her mouth to speak, but no words came out and Tina looked into Bettes eyes and then looked away.

Youre, you, Bette tried to finish Tinas sentence, but words eluded her too.

And before either could try to speak again, Tina quickly turned, opened, the door and ran outside to the car, where she got in and threw herself over the steering wheel. Tina shook her head furiously as she tried to settle herself enough to drive. Bette was inside leaning against the door still gasping for the breath Tina stole from her.

I miss you already, Bette sighed as she went toward the couch. Lord, I would give anything to have another moment like that, Bette reminisced.
