Tina
Tina managed to get herself together enough to drive, very slowly back to Alices. Every conceivable emotion traversed its way through Tinas psyche. She felt high, low, love, hate, indifference, and they lasted until she walked into the apartment to be greeted by Alice whod woken up just in time for Tinas arrival.

Please dont say a word Al, Tina softly pleaded. Your car is fine and I hope you didnt mind me taking it, Tina handed Alice the keys and walked into the bathroom.

Gmornin to you too Kennard, Alice snapped. I hope you enjoyed your little joy ride? She quipped.

As a matter of fact I did. Thanks for asking, Tina said a little indignantly, which made Alice wonder what was wrong.

You sure nothings wrong with my car? Alice curiously asked.

Nothings wrong with your car Alice. I just told you that, Tina said in an irritated tone. I need to take a shower. You think I can do that without more interrogation? Tina yelled over the running water.

Yeah, whatever, Alice dismissed, too tired to argue.

Oh, by the way, do you think youre up for taking me to meet your friend when I get out? Tina peeked her head out of the door.

Alice looked into the ceiling as it the words were going to magically appear. *****! I forgot all about that, Alice fussed. Uhm, I really need to eat something and take a shower. I feel and smell like *****, Alice sniffed her armpits. So, hurry up would ya? Alice went back to the kitchen to get more water.

Tina spent almost thirty minutes in the shower and during that time, spent most of it was with the water just running down her back as she thought about the kiss she shared with Bette. The wave of pleasure was now being erased by the feeling of regret for being in a compromised position. Tina knew the kiss wasnt planned or expected, but now feared that it might compromise or disrupt the rebuilding of their friendship.

Bette
Bette wrapped herself in the blanket and breathed in Tinas scent. She was still taken by the kiss they shared and smiled tenderly at how innocently it happened. Bette was ecstatic that there was still an intense chemistry between them, which gave her hope that they would some day be able to reconcile their relationship. Bette twisted the ring on her finger and said a little prayer to herself for both of them. Although Bette had gotten sufficient rest, she felt herself getting sleepy and curled up on the couch. Bette buried her head into the pillow wishing it was Tinas ***** or stomach. *****, any part of her would be acceptable; all Bette wanted to do was to have Tina in her arms again. Bette licked her lips trying to taste Tina, but nothing but the real thing could bring that feeling back. She wondered how Tina was feeling about what happened, and as much as she wanted to call, she knew it was better to let this one ride until Tina brought it up. Instead, Bette closed her eyes and relived the still fresh memory until she dozed off again.
