    The big night
    Rayne Bryant, business woman and entrepreneur extraordinaire set up one of the biggest Guest List Only parties the LA the private sector had experienced in a long time. She pulled strings with the friend of a friend of The Lakers General Manager Mitch Kupchak to get The Staples Center booked for the big event. Bette and James were more than impressed and excited with Raynes tenacity and credentials when they received their invitations. Each was allowed up to five guests and James and Bette immediately went over who they were bringing.

    I have to bring Kit or shell kill me. Shes so into industry parties and the exposure would be great for her. Rayne is interested in meeting her anyway. Then theres the gang, Bette paused. *****, thats more than five. Who are you bringing? Bette turned to James.

    Probably Katey and her friends in mischief Janet and Blu. I doubt theyll bring dates seeing as they are walking magnets if you know what I mean, James joked and Bette laughed. Uhm, Ill ask David and Tony if they want to come to and thats probably it. So Ill have one spot left.

    Okay, so Ive got Kit, Tina, Alice, Shane, Dana, thats five. But Ill feel bad for leaving Marina and Jenny out. *****! Im still short one even with yours. Ill have to call Rayne and see if shell allow me one extra name, Bette dialed Raynes cell.

    Rayne Bryant, came Raynes curt reply.

    Rayne, its Bette. I need a favor, Bette cut to the chase.

    Whats that?

    I need to know if I can swing for an extra name on my list because between James and I, Im still short one.

    Is your sister on your list?

    Yes, she is why?

    Ive already sent her an invitation, Rayne was still very curt and direct. Bette could hear her answering questions in between talking to her.

    Oh! How did you get her address? Bette was surprised by Raynes gesture.

    Bette Porter, Rayne said sternly to throw Bette off, if I can swing getting the Staples Center, dont you think I can locate your sister? Rayne chuckled.
