Turn About Is Fair Play – CH84
Bette laughed too and it made them both feel better. Okay, well, I better get going. Bette turned the car back on.
Alright. Have a good day and call me if you need me.
Will do.
Tinas day
Nya left with a smile on her face and Tina felt the energy of an ebullient three year old racing through her. Their night and morning together was magnificent and Tina looked forward to seeing Nya again before she left for Texas. Tina felt like she was on top of the world for the first time in a long time and she knew to cherish the moment, because they were typically short livedespecially for her. The harsh realities of life had not faded from Tinas memory and she knew she still had obstacles to facethe counselor! Knowing that she had Alice, Shane, and Nya to lean on was comforting, but they wouldnt be at her session when she needed to open up about all the things she wanted to forget.
Tina left for the office and listened to the radio as she hiccupped her way through LA traffic. Tina made her way through her day with little distraction and smiled every time she thought about her night and morning.
Now, thats a face I like to see, Brody stood in the doorway.
Huh? Oh, hi Brody, long time no see, Tina stood up to greet him. What brings you by? I thought you wouldnt be back until Wednesday.
Im not technically here, hence why Im dressed so casually, he chuckled. I needed to grab a file and also to thank you for the excellent presentation. Russell said you did great.
Tina blushed, oh thank you. I was just doing my job, she downplayed the compliment.
Just doing your job? Youre kidding right? Brody took a seat. Fenwicks brutal and doesnt take change well at all. In fact, hes probably one of the malcontented clients we have, but he makes us big money, so weve learned to tolerate him. So, your being able to keep him in line was a gift. Thanks again, Brody stood up and shook Tinas hand.

I’ve been remiss in not commenting. But I’ve been reading, does that count *grovels* Just great. Sam Cooke, oh yeah; for me right now it’s Lena Horne and Billie Holiday
Life seems more complicated for Bette than for Tina or non ? In fact, I don’t know what could happen now about them but anyway I love this story.
i was glad to see your post. it was still a great chapter even though not much big happened. so are we going to have a confrontation soon? hurry with the next chapter please.
Great chapter BluJ. Keep’em coming.
Woohoo!
*Dances around the room being the first to post*
Sad how much pleasure being first can bring.
Suchs babe, am blushing now.
I just write it as I feel it. This story always has me coming back for more. That is purely due to your talent and honesty with this story. You make it real; good and bad, in equal measure and that is life.
As for the developments in this chapter, I am intrigued by Bette’s behaviour as it appears that Rayne’s and Kit’s words have finally sunk in and Bette is begining to realise what she had and what she threw away.
Tina is just starting to get her life together and hopefully, even though Nya is good for her, will recognise where her heart truly belong and to whom.
See I am a big softie hoping for Bette and Tina to reunite.
Awaiting your next chapter with much anticipation.
A loyal Fan.
Blu… now here’s the thang~~~ the way I look at it Tina it appears is holding back. This woman has not really face the inner deep-rooted demon in her. I like this line here “scratched the surface†To me this tells a lot but reveals nothing LOL. I just love it when the writer make me go. Hmm I wonder what that means…. Sure it bugs the hell outta me but ah~~ there lies the beauty of it um hmm it keeps me interested. This Tina is desperately trying to be strong but there is something in the way you write this that makes me think that Tina is still very much raw and brittle somewhat that’s why I love that word you use there “surface†and when I went back to read the previous chapter for the second time I find some similarity. Similar in that Bette and Tina are both lost. Of course Bette appear to be the one more lost well at least that’s how I see it at this point of the story. Anyway I’m sticking around, I like the story too much to allow my tibette heart influence me from turning my back away and not come back to enjoy this intriguing plot that you’ve weave. A good read is a good read period!
Thank you for this up-date! I wanna see what tricks you have in store further ;o)
