Right then Agent Cooper went inside the room where the lawyers were and Bette and Dana entered one of the interrogation facilities.

Dana took a seat right across the detainee and placed a cold bottle of water on the center of the table, as Bette just remained on her own two feet.

“Who hired you?” Dana asked after a few minutes of complete silence as she just stared at the guy. She got no reply.

“You do understand that we know who you are right Sergei?” Dana spoke again and this time she got the guy’s attention. “Yeah… and guess what Interpol Agents are on their way here… and they’ll be happy to see you”

At that point the guy verbalized a phrase in Russian to which Bette replied, also in Russian.

“Yeah… she’s right you know” Dana added also in Russian. “Look, is fairly simple… you give us an address and maybe we can persuade our friends of the Interpol to go easy on you”

The prisoner spoke again and Bette, again, replied to him and this time she seemed to be more successful than the previous time since the guy just stared at her looking remarkably scared.

“Come on, I’m sure you don’t want that to happen to your family… I mean, I’m sure Interpol will agree with us and Mr. Komarov won’t ever know you’re still alive” Dana spoke this time.

Just as Dana was saying this Bette approached the table and started throwing pictures on the table that she was getting out of a folder. Once Dana finished speaking Bette started to describe some of those pictures, still speaking in Russian until one of them clearly hit a nerve, probably someone he recognized. The guy just stared at both the agents and took a big breath before releasing a mall phrase containing an American address.

“Good boy… we’ll be seeing you soon” Dana said as both the agents quickly exited the room.

“Coop, you and Dana go validate this with the other one” Bette asked her coworkers as she entered the room where the lawyers were.

“You speak freaking Russian?” Alice said more than asked, still amazed at both of the agent’s capacities.

“Yeah” Bette simply said.

Another thirty minutes went by before Dana and Agent Cooper were able to get some kind of information from the other detainee.

“It’s a valid one, I’ll send the assault teams. Are sure you don’t want to go?” Dana said as only half her body was through the door.  

“No, our job here is done…” Bette said understanding that even though she may want to be there, their mission was to keep these girls alive, even if they were missing all the action.

“Time to go home? So to speak” Alice said maybe a little too cheerfully considering the circumstances.

“Time to go” Bette said slightly smiling at the blonde, not noticing the other blonde’s smile growing bigger for she had just heard two good news: first Bette wasn’t going on any more nerve wrecking assignments, and second they were finally going to rest after the day’s events and that also meant time alone with Bette, again.

“Please, lead the way” Alice said eagerly.
