Bette: I know. I know.

Tina didn’t have to finish her thoughts, Bette understood completely.

Bette: hey, let’s go home huh?

Tina shook her head yes in agreement, and Bette started the car and drove off. The arrived at the planet first to pick up Angelica who was sitting on the couch in Kit’s office drawing on a piece of paper. She jumped quickly once her mothers entered the doors and ran into Tina’s arms.

Angie: mommies!

Tina: hey baby girl, have you been good for auntie Kit?

Tina said kissing her daughter on the cheeks and Angelica nodded her head yes.

Angie: Look mommy I draw a picture for my new brother, do you think he will like it?

It was a picture with two tall stick people with long hair, one hair black and other one yellow….one smaller stick person with curly hair colored in brown, and a tiny stick person with a bald head. Bette and Tina both had tears in their eyes and Kit couldn’t understand why. They should’ve been in a happy bliss right about now, they were about to have this new baby become a part of their lives so why the long face she wondered to herself. Cautiously speaking, Kit whispered softly to Bette as she stood looking down at Tina and Angelica.

Kit: Bette did something happen with Marci?

Bette didn’t answer she just looked up at Kit and shook her head no the same as Tina had done when she first stepped off that bus to find no Marci awaiting.

Kit covered her mouth and gasped as she could she the heartbreaking look on her sister’s face.

Kit: I’m so sorry baby sis.

She walked over and hugged Bette tightly then did the same for Tina.

Kit: you too baby girl, I know how much you wanted this.

It true, Tina was the most excited about adopting this child although it was Bette’s idea to have another baby in the family. Tina squeezed Kit tight then broke the embrace to pick up her child.

Angie: Mommy why are you crying?

Tina: Because mommy is just so happy to have you honey, I love you so much Angelica.

Angie: I love you to mommy and mama B.

Bette smiled as she watched her beautiful family.

Bette: I love you sweetheart.

She wiped her tears away then took Angie from Tina and kissed her on the forhead.

Bette: You ready to go home?

Angie nodded.

Kit: Hey I could keep her for the day so you guys can go be alone.

Tina: Thanks Kit, but we rather just go home and enjoy some quality family time.

Kit: Ok well if you change your mind….goodbye auntie’s baby, can I get a kiss?

Angie leaned over from Bette’s arm, sloppy kissing Kit on the cheek.

Bette: Eww that was a wet one!

Bette teased Angie as she giggled.

Tina: Bye Kit

Bette: Bye Kit

Both women waved as they made their way out if Kit’s office and on their way home.

Kit: There will be another blessing for you guys, don’t worry.

Kit whispered to herself as she watched her family leave out the door and out of sight.

Kit took a deep breath then went back to work.
The family arrived home, ate some lunch, then cuddled on the couch watching another Disney movie for Angelica until tiredness overtook them all and they passed out on the couch embraced in each other.
