Tina questioned Marci not in a way of calling her a liar, but intrigued to how the parents became aware of the father.

Marci: Yeah that was true, but a week ago they came home from work and he was here and it was all one big mess. I told them they didn’t have to worry about their grandchild because I had already choosen a couple to adopt and when they found out I picked you guys they reached out to him without my knowledge, putting aside their biased ways, and asked him to take full custody with their help financially…it wasn’t until three days ago I became aware of this.

Tina: Three days is a lot Marci.

Marci: I know and I am truly sorry but I have no other choice.

Bette: Marci I can’t say I’m not angry that you’re just now telling us this, I mean Tina and I are still at the bus station for crying out loud…but you’re right, this would’ve been a bad decision and maybe it’s best for all that the father go head and get custody.

Marci: I just hope that I have your forgiveness.

Both women could heard the sincereness in Marci’s voice, they knew she must really have felt bad about this situation.

Tina: What’s to forgive, it just wasn’t meant to be.

Bette could hear the small crack and Tina’s voice, she knew it had to be unbelievable hard for Tina to say that but she was so proud of her at this moment, she smiled and kissed her hands again knowing that through this difficult time they would be just fine.

Bette: Marci we wished you the best and if you ever need someone to talk to, we’re here to listen.

Marci: Thank you.

Tina: Goodbye Marci.

Marci: Goodbye.

Bette hung up the phone and turned her attention towards Tina.

Bette: T are you sure you’re okay with all of this?

Tina: I can’t say that this whole thing isn’t unpleasant Bette, but once we’re back on the list I’m sure everything will go back to normal. It just I was getting used to the fact of knowing another baby was going to be in the house but…

Tina words trailed off again.
