War, Love, and Commitment…a Sci-Fi Story Chapter 7 – FIGHTING THE EVIL

In the last five weeks the smart probes have built a powerful telescope and found the furthest and oldest celestial object that their technology could detect, a mini star probable surrounded by planets, probable extinct now, but the light travel the enormous distance, shows its presence, the number of light years to reach it is ridiculously huge, calculated in earth years much more than quadrillions, may be quintillions…, or maybe more years away, but the girls, in the lab, know that an appropriate wormhole could lead the probes there in matter of few minutes and even seconds; but they have to be sure of the exact destination, and they have to try, and make the suitable portal and send the probes to record data.

Tina: “the probes have found a very old point in that universe”

Louise: “let me see…, where is Angus…?”

    Angus: (just arriving) “here, Louise”

Louise: “Angus, please check the information Tina got from the probes”

As Angus analyzes the information, he gives his opinion, supporting Tina’s conclusions; they all decide to create a portal to reach the remote celestial body, from the position where the smart probes are located in the Hell universe, but Tina has another idea.

Tina: “mom, we can tie two smart probes together each one with an instantaneous portal generator, one could generate the portal to the farthest object there and the other a portal to here, and we’ll have a wormhole from here to there”

Willow: “how are you going to prevent the first portal from canceling the second?”

Bette: “we can synchronize, both of them at the exact same time…, but T…, I don’t think the portal should conduce to the lab in the biochemistry building…, I think we better look for a place inside the wormhole close to our lab here, so we won’t compromise the security of the university and the rest of the planet”

Tina: “yeah…, that would be better”

    Angus: “excellent”

Louise: “well, you guys are good, proceed with that plan, but let’s discuss the position of the portal in the wormhole first”

After two hours discussing, they decide to go ahead with Tina’s plan and make the connection with the farthest object in the Hell dimension, they don’t really know where exactly the output will be there, it may be that the so called farthest object the probes have identified is a star, and in that case the probes could burn when they go through the portal; what if that celestial body is not what they were looking for, maybe there is another one even farther, all those questions were discussed in those two hours, but finally Louise spoke

    1. Great story proteonomics!

I am happy that you are back with another chapter. It isn’t always easy for me to read due to the absence of knowing anything about science but i really love this story.

I am fearfull for Bette and Tina and i hope for Tina she will never give up hope to find Bette back when she seems lost.

Thank you so much for for this incredible story!

      • Hi Bibi:

Thanks so much for reading and commenting, you’re right, in this story, there are lots things coming from “Buffy the vampire slayer” show, and also from my own ‘harvest’.

I hope the next three and last chapters of this story, will be a little ‘light’ in this sense.

        Thanks again for your support.
