The producer smiles self-consciously.
Tina – Are you in the business?
Helena – Mostly in England. But I am now getting into the US market.
Alice turns to her friend.
Alice – She has invested in a couple of American movies.
Helena – Which company do you work for?
Tina – My own! Last Days Productions.
Alice – Tina is an award-winning producer and writer! She got a Sundance award a couple of years ago.
The English woman raises an eyebrow. Her face turns into a sensual smile gazing at the producer.
Helena – You are just what I was looking for.
The young companion calls.
Young companion – Helena!
Helena turns around annoyed and acknowledges with a wave.
Helena – Well, it seems that my tea is ready.
She turns to Tina.
Helena – Would you care to join me, Tina?
Tina – Uh … thanks but my girlfriend is coming to pick me up soon.
The English woman looks disappointed.
Helena – Ahh … (pause) Maybe we can chat some other time. I am currently researching investment opportunities in the US.
She takes a card from her purse and writes a phone number, giving it to the producer.
Helena – This is my personal cell number. Please give me a call. I am interested in learning more about your company.
Tina glances at the card.
Tina – Thanks!
Helena extends her hand again.
Helena – It was a pleasure meeting you. I hope to see you again soon.
They shake hands.
Tina – Same here.
The English woman gazes into her eyes for a moment longer, while holding her hand.
Helena – Excuse me, ladies.
She leaves.
Alice – See you, Helena …
She turns to her friend with wide eyes.
Alice – Oh. My. God! Did she just fuck you with her eyes or what?!
The producer raises her eyebrows.
Tina – What?!
Alice – Did you see the way she was looking at you?!
Tina – It was … intense, wasn’t it?
Alice – Intense?! It was intense for me! You, my friend, should need a cigarette!
She turns to look at Helena with puppy eyes.
Alice – Or in Helena’s case … the finest cigarillo from the most exclusive tobacconist in London.
