Tina – Hi, Kit!
Kit – Girl, you look tired! Are you not sleeping anymore?
Tina – Not much …
Kit – You look like you need a break! Are you going back to the hotel?
Tina – Yes, I am.
Kit – I was just about to eat. Why don’t you join me and tell me how things are going?
The blonde smiles.
Tina – I won’t say no to Maria’s cooking!
Kit – That’s good because you certainly need to eat!
Tina walks up to the porch and Kit embraces her.
Kit – Jim told me that you are helping with Charlie. I appreciate it! And I’m sure baby sis would too!
Tina – I’m glad to help, Kit.
Kit – Did you hear from her?
Tina – No …
Kit – Well, let’s at least have some fun, tonight! I have a dessert with enough chocolate that will make you forget your woes!
The blonde sighs sadly.
Tina – Then it better be huge …
They step into the house.
Bette’s bedroom, night: Bette is in her pajamas, sitting in bed and on the phone with Alice.
Alice – Have you talked to her yet?
Bette – No. She just sent me the fucking painting back!
The blonde frowns.
Alice – Which painting?
Bette – Sleeping Beauty …
Alice – The Tina shrine that you had on your bedroom wall?!
The brunette purses her lips annoyed.
Bette – Ha!
Alice – Wait! You sent her the painting?!
Bette – Yeah …
Alice – You sure know how to make a statement, huh? Wasn’t that a little too early?
Bette – We broke up, didn’t we?
Alice rolls her eyes.
Alice – And then she sent it back?!
Bette – Yeah …
Alice – What did she say?!
Bette – Per our agreement, it is yours until I break up with you.
Alice bursts out laughing.
Bette – You laugh at my misery?!
Alice – No, of course not!
She continues to laugh. Bette pouts.
Bette’s bedroom, night: Bette is lying in bed on her stomach and facing the painting, her chin resting on top of her folded hands.
Bette – You are not going to keep me awake, are you?
She looks pensive, gazing at the painting.
Bette – I can’t say that I’m upset to see you again.
Bette – I missed you … I miss you …
