Tina – I didn’t canoodle with her! She kind of caught me by surprise. I thought: Bette is already dating Giuliana. Why not?
Bette – I was not dating Giuliana!
Tina – And I couldn’t kiss her … For one tiny, miniscule moment, I wanted her to be you. But she was not you! And she definitely doesn’t have your lips.
She kisses Bette’s lips.
Tina – Nothing like your lips.
She kisses them again. Bette pouts.
Bette – You didn’t feel anything for her?
Tina smiles.
Tina – You know that she is a beautiful woman.
She turns serious.
Tina – But she is not you! It doesn’t compare … It doesn’t even register on the scale. And you always break the scale.
A smile appears on Bette’s face.
Tina – It was actually good that she tried to kiss me … because now I know that no other woman will do it for me! Only you!
She caresses Bette’s face and kisses her. They hug.
Bette – It was a nightmare to think that you were flirting with me and dating her at the same time!
Tina looks at her.
Tina – So, let me get this straight: the woman who spent her adult life flirting and having casual sex with women could not stand that I did the same?!
Bette – I know it sounds hypocritical but … I didn’t love anyone before. You’re the woman I love and there’s no fucking way in hell I’m going to share you with another woman!
Tina – Is this why you resisted me so much?
The brunette pouts.
Bette – It was fucking painful!
The blonde laughs.
Tina – Strangely enough, this is the best proof of love that you could ever give me!
Their eyes meet and they kiss.
Tina – Now you tell me what you did with Giuliana at the nightclub. I haven’t forgotten!
Bette – I was not dating her! I went with Al and she was there. And I left her there.
Tina – So, nothing? Not even a dance … or a kiss? Helena must have seen something!
The brunette looks down.
Bette – A kiss … at her home …

Good conversation between them. And Wendy promlem seems solved. But i don’t understand – Bette suggest that they officially moving together, or Tina will be travelling between two cities – SF and LA?
Love when the Author has Tibette communicate as honest, maturing adults. And an assertive, descriptive Tina always works!!!

A sequel does sound good tho.. we could see how bette’s n tina’s life in between San Fransisco n LA..how they manage to maintenance their relationship ;)
