Lara: [reaches into her purse pulls out her sunglasses putting them on]

Dana: [in a low whisper] Please can we just go somewhere and talk?

Lara: You want to talk, let’s talk or better yet I have a suggestion let’s role play! In honor of you, you know since you enjoy playing the role of the “cheating girlfriend!”

Dana: [pleading] Lara, please!?

Lara: [ignoring her] Okay, so you be the bank owner and I’ll be the robber.

Dana: I—I, don’t want to role play.

Lara: [if looks could kill]

Dana: [knowing she was in no position to argue agrees] Hello, miss how may I help you?

Lara: [in a cheerful tone] Are you a bank?

Dana: [voice trembled] Yes I am.

Lara: [takes an aggressive step towards her] Then leave me A LOAN! GO TO HELL DANA!

Dana: [hold her head down in shame]

Lara: [finally acknowledging her presence turns to face Alice] She’s all yours.

Alice: [pleading] Lara, she loves you this whole thing is just one big misunderstanding!!!!!!

Lara: Was it a misunderstanding when you two kissed?

Alice: [found herself at a loss for words]

Lara: [stepping around Dana places her purse in the back seat then faces her one final time] That’s what I thought send my regards to Tasha.

Alice: [hearing her name caused her bottom lip to quiver]

The Chauffeur: [holds the door open while she got in then closed the door walking towards the driver side of the car] Dana, looks on feeling completely helpless.

Now, standing on the curb all she could do was watch as Lara’s car drove down the street eventually disappearing. As bystanders continued to whisper, take pictures, and record her misery in a matter of minutes her entire world came crashing down. Witnessing what just transpired between Dana and Lara, you would think to prevent the same fate from occurring trying to get in contact with Tasha would be her first priority, it was not. As the bystanders slowly one by one began to disperse she stood frozen as her life began the process of unraveling.

It was a little past midnight when she finally returned home. When she walked through the door she was greeted with silence. Flicking on the living room light she looked around their home. Filled once with laughter, love, warmth, and happiness it was the place where there love began. Now, thanks to her brutal rants and hurtful words it felt deserted. The tirade she unleashed earlier was completely uncalled for, although she coached herself to remain calm and poised hearing the possibility of her moving caused her to lash out. A time when Tina needed her support and understanding she managed to make the entire situation about her. Taking time to reflect on her recent behavior she was embarrassed and angry about the person she had become. Furthermore, the one person that remained at her side through thick and then she continuously placed at the bottom of her heel. Like so many times before she was in the wrong and owed her much more than an apology but for now she hoped to amend some of the damage she caused.
