What If – Chapter 13
Jessie: Why should I believe you?
Savanna: [shaking her head in disappointment] Wow, I really can’t believe this!
Jessie: Out of all the women in the entire state of Virginia you just had to sleep with someone who was already taken and who I called my friend!
Savanna: Did you ask Tasha what happened?
Jessie: She told me the same bullshit ass story!
Savanna: And you don’t believe her?
Jessie: I know what I saw!
Savanna: What you saw was completely innocent!
Jessie: You expect me to believe that!?
Savanna: [began laughing hysterically]
Jessie: [her laughter only angered her furthered]
Savanna: [still laughing bends over clutching her stomach]
Jessie: What’s so funny?
Savanna: Wooooooo, [she says before standing upright] you don’t believe her, you don’t believe me, you’re not friends anymore which explains why she didn’t show up for tonights game…..here [she says tossing her keys to her] you’re right I should have backed away from your truck.
Jessie: That’s all you have to say?
Savanna: If I were you I would get back in my truck and drive until you find the closes Halloween store walk in and ask the clerk on what isle do they sell the donkey costumes because the only ass I see here is you! [she says before walking off]
Jessie: [watching her walk away eventually gets in truck and drives home]
At the Office, Virginia…..
Tasha: [staring at her computer throws down a stack of files on her desk in frustration] I swear being an adult has got to be the dumbest thing I’ve ever done.
Resting both hands on top of her head she leans back in her chair and stares at the ceiling. From the moment she stepped foot on the plane her world without realizing it had begun to crumble. She was isolated, alone, frustrated, angry, and scared. The one person she desperately wanted to reach out to she could not, as she and Alice were not on speaking terms and she had no idea as to why. Something between them had changed and no matter how many times she tried to wrap her head around it what was transpiring remained a mystery. Although, Alice made it abundantly clear she did not miss her she damn sure missed her. Stories of people growing apart she would hear frequently given all the obstacles they had overcome never in a million years did she believe their relationship would suffer the same. She wasn’t sure if that was the true cause or not but it damn sure felt like it.

Hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween!
Hey SKUNKPU80,
This chapter was worth the long waiting.
It was very funny, had to laugh about Bette and Shane.
I hope you will not break up my favourite couple B&T, they need to talk and then a long sweaty make up session ????
I hope you have a safe and great Halloween.
