Tina: [her harsh response caused hurt to appear in her eyes]

Kit: Hey! Whoaaaaaah! Down there Cujo!

Tasha: [shaking her head] Sorry Tina I didn’t mean it, it’s the frustration venting but that doesn’t give me the right to take it out on you thanks again for answering my call and coming to pick me up I really appreciate it.

Tina: I didn’t mean anything by it.

Tasha: I know, I really am sorry I’m just not in the right head space to discuss “home” right now.

Tina: Trust me, I know what you mean.

Tasha: I didn’t want to pry, but I figured something was going on when you stayed here last night whatever it is I hope you guys get past it.

Tina: Thanks, that means a lot.

Kit: Have you spoken to Alice at all?

Tasha: [in a somber tone] Nope.

Tina: When is the last time you two spoke to each other?

Tasha: [shaking her head] Uh, I don’t know I think three weeks ago maybe longer.

Kit: [shoots Tina another look]

Tina: [feeling guilty adverts her gaze]

Both Kit and Tina, knew exactly what was going on with Alice however, neither one had the ovaries to tell her the truth. It sucked because although they knew Alice long before Tasha came into the picture they considered her family too. There she sat heartbroken, confused, and frustrated all as a result of Dana returning back into Alices life. Kit, being much older knew she could not prevent the inevitable from happening but knew when the shit hit the fan Tasha would not only feel betrayed by Alice but by the people she called her family as well.

Tasha: [placing her napkin on the table pushes her chair away from the table] Thanks Kit for breakfast, I’m going to shower and dress before I head out.

Kit: The towels are in the hall closet and there’s extra soap under the sink.

Tasha: Thanks. [she says while washing out her plate in the sink]

Kit: You sure you don’t want anything else to eat there’s plenty of food left over on the stove?

Tasha: I’m fine but thanks anyway.

Tina: [leaning in whispers to her] This isn’t right we should just tell her!
