“Oh, tell me about it working in admin you don’t know how many divorce chits passed through my desk.”
“I served 20 years in the Navy and lost two husbands while I was in.”
“Two?”
“Yup, the constant being away we just grew apart, “she says taking a sip of her beer.
“Do you have any regrets, “Tasha asks.
“Nope, not one if given the chance to do it all again I would.
“Here…..here, “everyone says raising their glasses for a toast.
“Look, trust me I know what you’re saying I’ve only been in 10 years but when I got my orders I was grateful it was shore and not sea duty, “Daniel says. He was still early into his career in comparison to the others he was just barley starting out.
“Gotta love that shore duty!”
“Yeah, but my girl has been holding me down since stood by side when I went to war, various deployments, and duty station changes I know she is the one, “he says smiling at himself, “That’s why I asked her to marry me.”
“Congratulations!”
“I’m happy for you.”
“The best of luck to you both.”
“Daniel, don’t do it I know she’s all nice and sweet now but you just wait one day you’re going to roll over in bed and realize that pretty blonde you married is really a scarecrow in disguise.”
Daniel laughs at the comment, “Well, I had to scoop up another blonde since the one I had a crush on is already taken, “he says smiling at Tasha.
“Hey watch it, “she says jokingly.
“I meant no disrespect, “he says raising his hands defensively, “All I’m saying is Alice is hot when I first met her I’m ashamed to admit it but I got a chubby.”
“Awwwwwwwww!”
“Ewwwwwww!
“Hey, you can’t talk about her girlfriend like that!?
“Daniel, aye don’t be looking at my girl like that I’m warning you!”
“I mean it’s not like that anymore, look all I’m saying is we have all known each other for a while maybe it’s time to upgrade Alice from girlfriend status to wifey status.”
“Yeah, Tash what’s up with that you guys have been together for like 8 going on 9 years you guys ever plan on getting married?” She wasn’t sure how they went from discussing the meeting to her personal life wondering why her and Alice weren’t married. It was a sensitive topic and she didn’t feel comfortable opening up about it.

It seems that Dana and Lara seems to have made peace, so far.
And what will be the reaction of Alice when faced with Dana? though
I think Alice should stay with Tasha.

What a chapter; they (Tina, Shane, Bette, etc) are very wrong, how could they neglect her friend Alice to take care of Dana; and how Tasha could do that to Alice, everybody is lying trying to avoid hurting Alice but that is precisely what they are doing, hurting her. Things are getting very interesting.
P
