“Okay cool, besides I have to get up early in the morning Shanes doing my hair.”

“Hopefully you won’t be running into any of her crazy girlfriends.”

When Lara arrived to their room she was glad Dana wasn’t home yet. The flowers she ordered and food had been delivered shortly before she arrived. Kicking off her high heels and tossing her jacket on the couch. Grabbing six white and pink roses she gently begins removing the petals and placing them on the bed. Opening the bottom drawer on the side of the bed she removed 4 Japanese Cherry Blossom scented candles lighting them then placing them around the room. Going in the bathroom she runs the water and poured the same scented bubble bath into the water. While the water ran she went into the kitchen and set the table with the food she ordered. Taking one last glance over everything making sure it was perfect she then returned to the bathroom to turn the water off. Tonights objective was to apologize and if things went according to plan she planned on saying sorry as many times as she needed too.

Tasha was thankful her busy day had finally come to an end. So when a few of her fellow co-workers suggested they go out to eat and have some drinks afterwards she gladly accepted. They went to Margie & Ray’s Crabhouse one of her favorite places to eat they had the best fried crab in town.  As they all took their seats their waitress for the evening took their drink orders. While they waited for her to return they engaged in friendly conversation with one another.

“I thought that meeting would never end.”

“Listening to Colonel Taylor was like watching paint dry.”

“For you, for me it was like listening to my nagging wife, ”the response caused everyone to laugh out loud, “I wouldn’t be surprised if she just popped up with the kids.

“Oh, come on Gail’s not that bad.”

“Yeah, only because you don’t have to live with her when I had to do back to back deployments the nagging was non-stop hell she even nagged me in her sleep.”

“Being deployed is rough.”

“It takes a strong person to deal with someone in the military, “Tasha says chiming in.
