    “I love Lara and I support her dreams but it seems like this restaurant has taken priority…….even priority over me, “she says somberly before taking a sip.

    “Dane, Lara loves you and she’s just been working hard to get everything in place that’s all.”

    “I get that really I do but with her it’s been nothing but work.”

    “Well, I mean she is coming to the gala isn’t she?”

    “She says she is but I don’t know.”

    “Do you want her to come?”

    “Of course I do!”

    “Listen, “Bette says reaching over the table grabbing her hand, “I know you can’t see it now but things will get better you guys love each other.

    “Yeah, I hope so.”

    “Well, I’m heading back to bed I have to be up in four hours, “Bette says standing to her feet, “You remember where the guest bedroom is?”

    “Yeah, “she says while nodding her head.

    “I’m going to stay up with Dane for a little while longer I’ll be up in a few.”

    “Okay, goodnight.”

    “Bette thanks for allowing me to crash here for the night.”

    “That’s what friends are for right, “her words were touching causing Dana to smile. While Bette retreated to bed Tina and Dana sat talking and catching up. Dana was grateful for the company as the conversation helped her to push the issues in her relationship aside temporary. Before she realized it an hour had passed, knowing she had to be up early in the morning Tina called it a night and joined Bette upstairs. Dana pulling the covers up to her chest stares at the celling thinking about the words of encouragement her friends had shared with her. Hoping things got better between them she closes her eyes falling asleep for the night. While Dana slept Lara laid wide awake sending her 20th text message to her phone. She knew Dana wouldn’t respond but felt the need to apologize as many times as she needed. Finally giving up she puts her phone on the charger forcing herself to fall asleep.

      They should tell Alice that Dana is back, instead of trying to keep it a secret. Alice will feel so mad and betrayed over that.

      Unfortunately, in one form or another Alice and Dana
      can not fail to be reunited, both have the same
      unusual friends.

    4. Oh my God, poor Alice, being left aside by her friends and Dana being put in second place by her girlfriend; if their feelings for their significative ones are not strong enough, they may go back to be together.
      Very nice chapter.
