”How ridiculous are these two?” Alice mumbled to herself and shook her head as she got in the car and drove off.

Later that evening:
”See Porter. You are riding in style all dressed up looking all glamorous. And you will be walking the red carpet with yours truly” Alice said taking a sip of her champagne as she and Bette headed to the premier in a limo.
”I’m so excited. And I just can’t hide it. I’m about to lose control and I think I like it” Bette sang sipping her champagne as Alice rolled her eyes
”Thank You Porter Sister” Alice said sarcastically causing Bette to chuckle.
”Oh My God! The great Bette Porter laughs. I’m witnessing a miracle” Alice exclaimed as the limo pulled up to the stop.
The driver walked around and opened up the door as Alice stepped out then Bette. Alice linked her arm with Bette’s.
”Ok Porter. Please try not trip and embarrass me like you did with Stephanie at her premier last month” Alice pleaded and smiled when Bette glared at her.
”Fuck you Al” Bette responded and rolled her eyes as they hit the walk with bulbs flashing in their faces.
As the two took their seats in the theater. The crowd erupted into cheers as Rick made his way with Tina on his arm down to the front.
Bette turned to Alice.
”Alice! You didn’t tell me Tina was going to be here and with Rick of all people. Are they dating?” Bette asked incredulously.
”Must have slipped my mind” Alice responded nonchalantly as Bette shot her a glare
”How convenient!.. Al? I can’t watch her with someone else. I’m not ready for that” Bette said fidgeting in her seat.
”Get over it Porter. North Carolina is confused. She’s scared. Make her see that she has nothing to be scared of. When that happens her confusion will dissipate” Alice reasoned and Bette looked at Alice in shock
”Since when did you become Dr. Phil?” Bette asked as Alice shrugged.
Alice was about to respond but the lights dimmed and the movie started.
Two hours later the credits rolled and the lights turned as the crowd headed for the exits. Bette and Alice headed back to their limo and as they were stepping into it Rick spotted Bette and Alice getting into the limo.

Poor Stephanie but i am glad Bette was honest with her and broke it off.
I love Alice in this story and that’s unique because i dislike Alice in general.
Tina made up her mind and went to get what she wanted and that is one Bette Porter! Now make sure she isn’t going to break Bette’s heart again!

Well a double post which really moved things along. Concerned it may be moving too quickly but willing to go along for the ride.
I stand corrected. She surprised me in talking to Stephanie (what a thing to hear the 1st thing in the morning).
Will have to get to know “this” Bette.
WOW! Falling in love so quickly was like a speeding locomotive. Please don’t let Eric, Helena, Jodi, Henry or Candace into their lives. I like stories like this that don’t have long and drawn out slow burns. These two hit the ground running. Thank you
Great story ! Am loving the relationship between Bette and Tina, so early on. Let’s hope they go from strength to strength? Sounds like there’s a lot of love there already and will grow. Love Alice being there, she never seems far from Bette and Tina and always gives the lighter side to a story especially with her interactions with Bette can’t wait to read more , stay safe
