“And, I’m not letting go of you ever, either. That’s a beautiful painting. Anyone in mind?” She said to him lovingly as she then kissed his head.
“Yep, it for Gramma.”
“Okay, not to be confused but I am, which one is Gramma?”
“Gramma is you mom… Gamma is Allyn.”
“Oh, that’s good to know, thanks. So, you like the idea of having a bigger family?”
“Oh, yes… I like havin’ two grammas and aunties an’ a uncle. But best of all I love havin’ you!”
They shared a hug. Soon there was a light tapping at the door and Kit peered in. “Hi, can I come in?”
“Sure, come on in… and then come over here for another hug.” Kit smiled and walked over into her sister’s arms and they held each other for a long moment. Soon they sat together on the sofa and talked while Ozzie was finishing his painting.
“Baby Girl, I’m so sorry that I hurt you so deeply with my insensitivity and judgment that it caused you to leave LA. I hope some day that you can forgive me.”
“Sweetie, I already have. I have missed you so much… I don’t like it when you’re not in my life and I promise that I’ll keep in touch now. Wow! What a day! Wait, the others don’t know where I am do they?”
“No, don’t worry, no one knows where you are but they all keep asking me of your whereabouts. But you might want to take your name off of the Internet with the shows that you do or it won’t take Alice long to find you.”
“But, they threw me out of their lives, why would they even care?” Bette replied. Ozzie looked up at his mom and aunt and saw that they were deep in conversation. He wanted to show his new Gramma her present so he quietly snuck out of the room leaving the two women in deep conversation. He walked over to Allyn’s office.
“Because after the dust settled and you’d disappeared, they came back to their senses, realizing the harm they’d done to you, especially after you applied to dissolve your marriage to Tina. She was devastated with that information because of the harm she realized that she’d caused you.

I’m a little confused I thought Bette would be excited about the baby and trying to get to Tina but she is like denying the child its like she has moved on…..I’m still loving the story though you have my support still
Great chapter. Hopefully Bette will feel towards Tina when she hears from her about what was bothering her all those years that caused all that passive-aggressive behaviour. Bette still loves her but at the moment she is just simply overwhelmed. I think when she reads Tinas email she will better understand and appreciate

Well, Bette had no part in Ozzie’s creation either, and she wanted to adopt him within a day of meeting him. Maybe she’d have to meet the baby to have a connection, but then again, that would mean she had to deal with Tina. If that isn’t something she wants or is prepared to do, she should probably be upfront about it. Staying in NY and asking Kit to keep her location quiet is a fairly clear message that she’s moved on. Thanks
