Aside from Bette, Janice hadn’t really believed in love at first sight until she met Nathan. One look into his eyes and she was immediately head over heels for the newborn. One look into hers and Janice knew he felt the same as bizarre as that sounds.
On some level, Janice couldn’t help but compare that moment in the hospital with her own life. Why couldn’t things always be like that? You love someone and they automatically love you right back.
"We still doing movie night tomorrow at my house?" Shane asked and brought Janice back from her depressed reverie.
"Bette’s not coming" She answered sadly as she looked down at the infant drifting off into a peaceful sleep, his tiny hand still wrapped around her finger. At least Nathan loved her.

Bette stared down at her salad nervously as she used her fork to push a cherry tomato around her bowl, "T?"
Tina hummed as she put a forkful strawberry shortcake in her mouth, "Hm?"
"You don’t think about um . . finding someone?" It was suddenly quiet and Bette didn’t dare look up from her salad. She figured it was best to get it out before she lost her nerve, "I’m not saying you need it or anything but it would be nice if you had someone to help you once the baby is born. You’re always the one taking care of people . . it would be nice if someone took care of you for a change"
Someone like me
It had been a constant on Bette’s mind for the past hour as both she and Tina enjoyed their meal at a restaurant they had been frequenting over the last few weeks.
On the way to drop Tina off after that first night at The Planet, Bette’s mind had been working overtime as she silently questioned whether or not it was a good idea to try and pursue the blonde. It wasn’t until they had reached Tina’s apartment that Bette had finally ((sadly)) made up her mind. Tina had thanked her for being a good ** friend, one of the best ones she had in a long time.

Janice needs to kick rocks, but it appears Bette is now in the same boat as Janice. As for Tina, I am confident she will come to her senses and when Bette’s magic fingers make their way a little further north there will be no denying her attraction to another woman. Loving this story…PPS

Maybe Bette should give Janice a chance. Why people always chase after someone who is not that into them totally missing someone who is right under their nose and can be right for them?
Great update. Feel sorry for both of them. They need to talk to each other, if not now, then after the baby is born, which should be very close. Tina needs to tell Bette about her feelings which she is not sure of or doesn’t quite understand. And Bette needs to admit her feelings as well. Bette doesn’t want to scare or rush Tina but, they do need to talk. Neither of them should give up, especially Bette. Janice so needs to just go away and leave Bette alone. Great story. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for another chapter! :-) … Though its such a not so happy one as you made me join Bette in the ride of “emotional roller coaster” and I just hope that you won’t make her ride it together with Janice, and make “one thing lead into another” – you know?! :-o … if so, please don’t break any tibetter’s heart… By giving a warning in advance maybe?! :-D LOL yup! Ah I am so in love with this fic! Bette will get Tina sooner or later. Maybe in the delivery room when Tina sees Bette with the baby, she’ll fall in love with her right there. Ugh! I can’t wait to see what happens!! PPS!!

Dang I feel sorry for Bette……..she is on a rollercoaster with Tina she so high and happy then tinas like yeah were good friends and Bette just goes down and is sad……too bad Tina is just reducing her feelings to hormones hopefully her hormones will get out of control one day and she will step to Bette or she will just prove after the baby that she still have those feelings then she acts on it…she is close right
Your story telling always leaves me sated but wanting more all the same. Can’t wait for more. I can’t imagine falling for someone who is pregnant. But then in the next breath I could fall head over heels with the process and being apart of it. And well if that woman is extremely beautiful that would definitely help. Waiting for more.
I understand Tina because pregnant women in the pregnancy you’re hormone level are high. But maybe after the baby is born she can see much clearer. She can blame her hormone level then. Amazing story. Thank you and PPS

I feel so bad for Bette. She really is trying to keep her feelings in control so that she doesn’t get hurt but it’s not working. She may be determined to be Tina’s best friend but it’s not going to change the way she feels. I hope Tina doesn’t take too long to realize that she has feelings for Bette too. And then there’s Janice…..she worries me. She’s a bit creepy. I really hope Bette doesn’t get involved with her to take her mind off Tina.

Should Bette try to move on from her feelings for Tina, that’s likely when Tina will start to realise what she’s feeling for Bette. Janice, she’s probably going to let the cat out of the bag at some point. Drama coming! Thanks for posting. :)
