Wings of An Angel – Bette and Tina – Chapter 11

    Previously

Tina followed Antoine to Bette’s private room 910 in the trauma center.  Tina stood outside of the door trying to prepare herself for what she was about to see.  “Are you ready?”.  Tina raised her head slightly and responded, “As ready as I’ll ever be”.  The room was set in dimmed lights and the eerie beeping of the machines made the room seem haunted with ghosts.  Tina gasped when she first glanced at Bette; the beauty of her love sheltered in an unknown face.  After excepting the shock of scanning Bette’s swollen face, she began to notice that her head was wrapped in white bandage stained with blood, a breathing tube was inserted into her throat that was connected to an oxygen tank, wires and needles made a home in certain critical areas of her body and her complexion was that of one who had crossed the line one to many times in pursuit of happiness.  “A bed will arrive shortly for you to rest in.  Talk to her; she can hear you”.  As he was about to leave, she asked, “How is the boy?”   He answered, “Critical, but stable”.

“Can you hear me sweetheart?  Well you better listen.  My love and heart is all I have to give.  I can’t live without you Bette”.

    Chapter 11

Minutes turned into hours, hours changed into days, days progressed into weeks and weeks graduated into months.  Two seasons, fall and spring, transformed the planet with the natural metamorphose of turning the leaves from green to red and red to orange.  The cold, blistering wind and rain chilled more than the skin and blood; the dampness ran its way into every creature’s bones that no amount of bodily warmth could melt the ice surrounding their frozen shell.  The ice age of long ago was slowly creeping back.  For some reason, winter was going out like a lion; a prediction of bad things to come.  Life is a gift you grasp with zest and when you let the sadness of sorrow distract you from your written path, it can take a long time to get back on the road you started with.  It takes a strong soul and the love of a good woman to conquer the dark waters of death and throughout Bette’s journey of emotional and physical healing; she clearly remembers the brunette angel stating, “It’s not your time yet.  You still have much to do”.

    1. March 19th? I wonder why you choose this date…….LOL…..Another great chapter…..I know that you not going to end this soon…..There’s so much more to EXPLORE…….I like the fact that Bette is a queen but what do that make Kit…….BTW……I know why you hear the sound of my voice in your head!!!!!!

    2. The length was just fine. :) I can see why Bette kept this a secret. Like she said, she wanted Tina to love her as Bette. Some people can’t see beyond a title, fame or wealth. I think Tina would’ve been star struck at first but she wouldn’t have cared if Bette was dirt poor. She would’ve loved her regardless. Plus, it’s not easy to believe a piece of news like, “Oh by the way I’m next in line to run my country. Can we have sex now?”

    3. Egypt hey :o)…….I can understand why Bette kept this a secret from Tina but what is going to happen now. Is Bette going to ask Tina to forgive her and will she…..hmmm you sure leave us with a gap. Post soon

    4. Wow, this story is still very intriquing. Bette as a Queen. Tina is as mad as a hornet’s nest, but I can understand Bette wanting Tina to love her for her and not the position. Does this mean that on the next flight to Bette’s country that we will find one Tina Kennard-Porter and a very handsome Kyle Kennard-Porter? Now that would piss off one mommy dearest. Yes you did great but now you have to post again. I do miss the dark/light angles hanging around though.

    5. Wowwie, a fine chapter. I always considered Bette a queen. Thanks for updating although I’d still like another chapter in a couple of weeks. A short one is ok. Good luck with your studying.

    6. wow didn’t see this coming–a queen-of the land of pyramids hopeful she’ll rule better and be truer to love then cleo was to her lovers–don’t let tina be to shocked and unwilling to understand –please don’t wait to long to post sitting on the edge of my chair

    7. Hey Leo…. I still don´t want to mess with perfection so I will just say Hello ;-) Wow did it really say tbc at the end sooooo great:-)Leo it really was a great chapter looking forward to the next one….
