    Just another love story from the beginning.

     

    “Tina, after all is said and done, what Bette means to tell you is that she is the next heir to the throne”.  Bette’s feelings for her mother could be seen in her eyes, but Mrs. Porter couldn’t care either way.  “She is to be crowned Queen.  The ceremony will take place in six weeks.  She has a duty to her country and to her people”.  Bette raised her angered eyes to silence her mother and stated, “Mother, you have said enough.  I think it best you leave, now”.  Bette’s tone of voice left no room for argument.  Silence filled the room as three pairs of eyes watched the elegant Mrs. Porter swiftly depart with Jeffrey in tow, but in doing so, she added, “I don’t care what or who you think you are Elizabeth, you will do what is right”.  It appears that regardless of how much warning you get of a pending storm, you are not ready for the pain and suffering it leaves behind.  Tina was confused; “What does she mean queen?  Bette, what is she talking about?”  As she read the truth in Bette’s concerned eyes, Tina’s voice was laced with anger, “How could you do this to us?  Was this all a joke to you?  Was I a joke to you?”  Bette knew that braving this storm would take the will of God and she would gladly walk strongly into the tornado that was brewing within Tina.  “You are my world Tina.  I committed myself to you because you belong to me just as I belong to you.  I love you and nothing will ever change that”.  Tina stood and with a tearful disgusted glance at Bette, she walked out the door.  “We’ll be back”, Bette stated as she stood to follow Tina to the ends of the earth.

    The confused and humiliated looks on their friends’ faces spoke volumes of the lack of trust that was shown to them.  “I can’t believe that you and Bette kept this from us”, Shane said once the shock wore off.  “I mean, we are your friends, your family.  You look nothing alike.  Sisters?”  Shane stood and headed towards the kitchen, “I need a stronger drink”.  The words “Fuck me” slipped from Dana’s mouth before she even realized what she was saying.  Being the natural smart ass that Alice was, she automatically responded with, “Not now baby.  We have more important things to worry about.  It seems we are in the presence of royalty.  Should we bow to the Princess and Duchess?”  Dana thought it best not to entertain Alice‘s statement with an additional comment of her own.  As far as she was concerned, the silent death threat emanating from the eyes of Kit was enough to close Alice‘s mouth; at least for a while that is.  “Don’t give me that look Kit Samuels.  Or should I say Porter.  You are just as guilty as Bette”.  Dana was driven out of curiosity to ask, “How are you two actually related”.

    1. March 19th? I wonder why you choose this date…….LOL…..Another great chapter…..I know that you not going to end this soon…..There’s so much more to EXPLORE…….I like the fact that Bette is a queen but what do that make Kit…….BTW……I know why you hear the sound of my voice in your head!!!!!!

    4. The length was just fine. :) I can see why Bette kept this a secret. Like she said, she wanted Tina to love her as Bette. Some people can’t see beyond a title, fame or wealth. I think Tina would’ve been star struck at first but she wouldn’t have cared if Bette was dirt poor. She would’ve loved her regardless. Plus, it’s not easy to believe a piece of news like, “Oh by the way I’m next in line to run my country. Can we have sex now?”

    8. Egypt hey :o)…….I can understand why Bette kept this a secret from Tina but what is going to happen now. Is Bette going to ask Tina to forgive her and will she…..hmmm you sure leave us with a gap. Post soon

    10. Wow, this story is still very intriquing. Bette as a Queen. Tina is as mad as a hornet’s nest, but I can understand Bette wanting Tina to love her for her and not the position. Does this mean that on the next flight to Bette’s country that we will find one Tina Kennard-Porter and a very handsome Kyle Kennard-Porter? Now that would piss off one mommy dearest. Yes you did great but now you have to post again. I do miss the dark/light angles hanging around though.
