Tina stood looking out the window of Bette’s room; an uncomfortable cubicle that has been Bette’s residence for the past three months, but according to Dr. Cartwright that should be no more. Bette was being released today. Today, March 19th represented the momentous occasion where Bette would finally be arriving home; home to the house that has been feeling empty for longer then Tina could actually bare. Too many nights she crawled into the loneliness of their bedroom, cried into the hollowness of their living room and suffered through the vacant sounds of laughter and hope. The moment Tina could wheel Bette away from the confines of these four walls into the joyous events of life, it was the minute they could plan the rest of their lives. Tina was ready to begin the next phase of their relationship; she wanted to encircle a ring on Bette’s finger. Tina needed to wake up every morning holding Bette; her friend, partner, lover, soul mate, and wife. Tina didn’t consider herself a possessive woman, but after surviving the past three months knowing the unlimited measure of her love for Bette, she wanted the world to know that Bette was claimed and proudly taken; especially Nurse Miller with her not to subtle ‘I’m available’ hints.
Bette sensed that Tina was strolling in her own world and thought it best not to disturb her at this point in time. Instead, she reflected about the past three months; the struggle to get back on her own feet, to be her own woman. Every step that she took to fighting against the odds, Tina was there giving one hundred percent; support that Bette resented on numerous occasions when she was ready to give up. Tina didn’t allow Bette to wither and die in her presence; she knew the demons Tina fought to get her back. As she continued to gaze upon Tina, Bette knew that living without Tina wasn’t an option. Bette instantly realized that she wanted Tina without limits and in doing so will have to reveal the secret that she and Kit have hidden for more than seven years. Bette started to have a mental conversation with her conscious, ‘I could always use the excuses that we had only been together for a year, I wasn’t ready to share that part of my life yet, or maybe tell her that I didn’t think it was worth mentioning. Than again, I could use the tactic that I completely forgot about it. I mean, I don’t see what the big deal is anyway’. Bette focused her attention on Tina, her wonderful beautiful Tina and knew without a doubt that none of those excuses would work. As she sat in the bed contemplating another hopeless scenario, Bette signed in defeat and mumbled, “I’m in deep shit”.

March 19th? I wonder why you choose this date…….LOL…..Another great chapter…..I know that you not going to end this soon…..There’s so much more to EXPLORE…….I like the fact that Bette is a queen but what do that make Kit…….BTW……I know why you hear the sound of my voice in your head!!!!!!

The length was just fine. :) I can see why Bette kept this a secret. Like she said, she wanted Tina to love her as Bette. Some people can’t see beyond a title, fame or wealth. I think Tina would’ve been star struck at first but she wouldn’t have cared if Bette was dirt poor. She would’ve loved her regardless. Plus, it’s not easy to believe a piece of news like, “Oh by the way I’m next in line to run my country. Can we have sex now?”
And miracles do happen…Yeh, thank you…and I agree with Succ1…no end in sight…I’m buckled and lov’n it!!!!

Wow, this story is still very intriquing. Bette as a Queen. Tina is as mad as a hornet’s nest, but I can understand Bette wanting Tina to love her for her and not the position. Does this mean that on the next flight to Bette’s country that we will find one Tina Kennard-Porter and a very handsome Kyle Kennard-Porter? Now that would piss off one mommy dearest. Yes you did great but now you have to post again. I do miss the dark/light angles hanging around though.
