“Just writing”
“Want some company?” Lisa asked
“Don’t you have stuff to do?”
“You’re more important” Jess smiled “Let’s hear what you’ve written”
Mason played what he had.
“I like it” Jess smiled
“Me too” Lisa admitted “You’ve just wrote some of what me you and Jess are all feeling”
“It sucks” Mason admitted
“Do you want us to help you write it?” Lisa asked
“You can’t play any instruments and you don’t sing” mason laughed
“Let me go get my guitar” Jess said getting up and leaving the room
“I’m very good at saying how I feel though and we all pretty much feel the same shitty way at the minute” Lisa put her arm around her younger brother pulling him into her, Mason rested his head on her shoulder.
Tina decided to go to Alice and Dana’s after work to air some of her frustrations. The three of them were sitting in the lounge just chatting.
“I just don’t understand her Dana I honestly don’t” Tina sighed
“I’m blown away; I never thought Bette would behave like this!”
“Okay she’s hurting me, but what she’s doing to the kids!” Tina snapped
“I know she’s in town, I just don’t know where!” Alice stated “I just want to talk to her, this “hello this is Bette speaking” No it’s not it’s your fucking voicemail!”
“Did you sign the divorce papers?” Dana asked
“Did I hell!” Tina looked at her friend “And I have no intention in doing so”
“That song Jess wrote is a sore one to listen to” Dana stated “We should have been here sooner”
“It’s made a lot of money so far” Tina said “Jess wants all proceeds donated to Breast Cancer Awareness”
“You must be proud of her”
“Proud is an understatement, she doesn’t need me to be proud she knows I am, She needs Bette’s approval on everything” Tina explained “Out all three of my kids Jess is the one who needs Bette’s approval. Mason and Lisa just do what they want when they want”
“Jess has always been Bette’s shadow though” Alice stated
“Both of them have so much of Bette in them, I double look at times” Tina smiled
“Jess has always been extremely close to Bette though, Lisa is more your shadow” Dana sighed
