“This is killing her” Tina sighed “I hate seeing her hurt like this, Carmen and I can’t heal this one”
“I just want to bang Bette’s head against a wall” Alice snapped
They were interrupted with Tina’s phone.
“Hello?”
“Hi Mum it’s me I was just wondering where you were and if you were okay?”
“I’m at Auntie Alice’s and Auntie Dana’s, I’m fine sweetie. Are you at home?”
“Yeah Lisa and Mason are upstairs, were going to head into the studio in an hour, Just wanted to check that was okay”
“Off course it is sweetie, I’ll be here till late anyway Auntie Alice is still going on at the fact I’ve not tried her baked potatoes”
“Rather you than me, I love you mum”
“Love you too baby, bye”
Tina put her phone back on the table.
“Just Jess checking up on me” Tina laughed
“She’s got such a huge heart”
“She does and she’s so sensitive she takes everything to heart”
“She definitely doesn’t take that from Bette” Alice joked
“Oh no, Lisa and Mason have Bette’s don’t give a fuck attitude” Tina laughed
“I’ve noticed that” Dana laughed “Trying to teach Mason is a nightmare, he’d argue with an empty room”
Mason, Jess and Lisa walked into the studio. Jace, Mark and Lee were still in the rehearsal room.
“Why you guys still here?” Jess asked
“We were just running through everything… you okay?” Jace asked
“Yeah were fine we’ve wrote something and were going to record it if you want to help?”
“Sure I’m in” Mark smiled
“Me too” Lee smiled at his best friend
“We’ll I can’t really say no now” Jace smirked “My wife would hit me”
“Oh ha ha” Lisa laughed at her husband
Jess and Mason lifted guitars and walked up to the mics.
“Okay so we’ll run through it and let you hear it” Jess explained
“Jess you take the first verse if that’s okay” Mason said
“Okay” Jess nodded
They would yell, they would scream, they were fighting it out
She would hope, she would pray, she was waiting it out
Holding onto a dream
While she watches these walls fall down
Sharp words like knives, they were cutting her down
Shattered glass like the past, it’s a memory now
