You Can Always Remember What You Can Never Forget (Chap26)
"That sounds great. I’m glad to hear that you want us to get out of the house a little."
"T- I"m not trying to torture you ok! I do want you to be able to relax this weekend ok?"
"I’m just joking- a hike sounds great. Let me go change and I’ll be ready to go."
Bette watched as Tina left the kitchen. She thought to herself how hard it was to not run after her and make out with her some more and have it lead where it always did to sweet love making. She knew she needed to be strong, and although she lifted the hands to yourself rule she did want them to have some boundaries. She hoped the hike would clear their minds and help Tina to relax. She was also hoping to share some good memories with her before they got into the more difficult stuff.
"I’m all set." Tina said as she came back into the kitchen
"Great I just finished making us some sandwiches and I put a couple of waters in my back pack too. Now you are sure you’re up for this right? I don’t want you to push it."
"Bette I feel great- my injuries are healed up."
"Ok good- just want to make sure. You’ll let me know if you need a rest right."
"Of coarse I will."
They head out on their hike down into the valley. Both of them need a few breaks as they head down. Finally they reached this clearing and saw the waterfall.
"Wow Bette this is beautiful. Worth the hike and sweat for sure."
"Yea I agree. This is just reminding me how out of shape I am though."
"Well you don’t look out of shape if that makes any difference" Tina regretted it as soon as she said it- she just couldn’t help flirting with Bette.
Bette just smiled. She loved how flirty Tina had become. it was very much like the beginning of their relationship.
"So do you wanna set up lunch here. I mean we don’t have to eat… we can talk… or relax or whatever." Bette was nervous all the sudden and just rambling.
Tina wanted to calm her. She took Bette’s hand in hers. "Yes this spot is perfect- let’s set up the blanket and get comfy and chat ok." She squeezed Bette’s hand and went to start clearing an area for the blanket.

As difficult as the situation is now maybe in the long run it’s a good thing. It’s up to them to take the chance to clear the air and discuss the relationship from a new point of view. PPS.
Beautiful and tender.
loving this… keep them talking and pps
Great Update!!! Please just keep them talking. Thank you PPS
Really great chapter… good mix of sweet, sexy, flirty, and loving.
oh that was too nice…bringing in that big question between the too…their reconnection very loving..
i’m glad you brought up the situation with another baby, and i’m glad B&T are taking it slow and trying to make tina remember everything
I love this story. Probably have said that before but it bears repeating!
Yeah, they need to keep talking. As difficult as it may be, they need to get everything out there for Tina’s sake. Great update! PPS
luv yr story so much and PPS
Lovely update. Thank you.
tina was very sensitive.what next i wonder, is bette going to confess her affair and her fears…or has she already done that and i’ve 4gotten
Such a wonderful story. Love how hard both are fighting to get their life back on track. I do hope that if a child is produced that Bette does carry him/her.
Tina comforting Bette that’s a good thing. It’s good for them to talk everything out even the hard stuff as long as they don’t let anger get in the way when Tina finds out some of the bad things they have had to work through. If Tina doesn’t get her memory back they will just have to start over again and take it from there. It will probably be hard on Bette remembering what they had but at least she will still have Tina. PPS
That was so touching. This weekend away was a great idea. They’re really connecting on a deeper level. I think even if Tina didn’t get her memory back their relationship would survive because they truly love each other.
Very emotional right now but necessary. Just keep them talking and Tina slowly remembering. I still want to know why she was in the car with the fellow co-worker and where they were going and why. I feel that might trigger her memory faster than anything else. Thanks for posting.
