    Bette takes a deep breath and touches Shy’s arm…..which by this time Tina had been watching Bette  and this woman interact couldn’t hear what they were saying but knew it was intense by the expression on Bette’s face and she recognized who she was, which made Tina very nervous…. Bette looks Shy in the eyes I’m sorry you’re hurt, But I wasn’t looking for anyone Tina just happened to fall into my life. I have been unhappy most of my adult life… I had fun with you but it just wasn’t what I needed..

    Shy pulls a way . Oh so she’s is what you need? Why Bette? Why her and not me I have loved you for almost three damn years!…

    Bette Bits her bottom lip… Shy I know this is hard for you to hear and I know I have said it before But I am not in love with you…. But I am deeply head over heels in love with Tina and I have asked her to marry me

    Because I just had to let you know how your actions have affected others…moving back in close to Bette touching the side of her waist… I waited all this time for you to come around and I really thought this last time you stayed over, you had started to come to love me…

    Tina is fuming right now.. She has put her hand on Bette and she never moved away… and Bette is looking at her so intensely. It was clear that Shy was getting to her.

    Bette knows exactly what Shy is talking about, she was depressed last time they were together and maybe clung to her and got a little close out of her comfort zone, Which has now came back to haunt her. Knowing it wasn’t right because she knew Shy’s feelings for her was deeper….

    Shy I’m so sorry… half tearful…It was wrong of me to have made you think I was getting closer to you. I was in a bad place that last time and you comforted me …I took, but didn’t give back. I was incapable of doing so. Tina has changed me I’m not that same person anymore and if I could take it back I would but I know that’s no consolation to you. Shy you will find that someone special and now maybe… that you let me go, you will find them just as Tina had found me.

    6. Oh wow. Tina got some making up to do. Why rush out the club? If that is your woman…go get your woman. Don’t let someone be touching her and you don’t really know what’s going on so you rush out. FOH! Thanks for posting.

      Tina seems to be very quick to jump to her own conclusions.

    8. Great chapter, that Kennard temper better slow down. If Tina was that concerned about what was going on between Bette and Shy she should have walked over to see what they were saying. I mean does she really believe Bette would be getting close to someone else right out in public where she knew Tina could see her, she better get her head out of her ass and think about what she is about to lose if she is going to keeps letting that temper of hers flair out of control.

    10. I understand Tina, Bette scene with her ex overcame her.
      Promises are good, but actions are what count.
      Bette should take the place of Tina, or think how deep must have hurt her,
      that Tina decide to remove the ring.

      • I totally agree with you. Bette should have told Shy keep her hands to herself. Tina had every right to have that reaction, well maybe not exactly, maybe she should have walked over to them. Love this story.

Thank you for seeing beyond and more into it. .There is always two sides, the act and the reaction.
