    I guess I came and said my piece and got my answers and I’m sorry too, I really wished we could have had a chance.

    Bette gives her a quick hug I really do wish you happiness Shy.  Bye

    Bye Bette… looks at the bartender and asks for a whiskey double… Bette races outside to find Tina. She just makes it out the door and sees Tina speeding out of her parking spot coming towards her to get out of the lot. Bette steps out in front of her just in time for Tina to slam on her brakes missing Bette by five feet. Both hands on the wheel  fists clenched tight.

    Bette walks around to the driver’s side pecks on the wind …Tina!  ..Bette has never seen her this mad before and know she is in for a wrath of Kennard…..Tina!

    Tina was too mad to move . Bette opens the door, reaches her hand in putting car in park and turning off the car. Undoes Tina’s seat belt squatting down beside her …Tina talk to me….Tina just nods no… Bette takes her hands to Tina’s which are still on the wheel. Prying them off she pulls Tina out of the car by her hands and notices something is missing.

    Tina, where’s your ring?

    I took it off.

    Why the hell did you do that?.. Bette is so broken at this point.. I put that ring on your finger to stay.

    Well maybe you should make your mind up first because it looks like maybe you still have old feeling for someone else.

    I’m sorry, that was Shy ……she caught me off guard. I didn’t expect her to show up here.

    Yeah, well that was obvious.

    What’s that supposed to mean Tina?

    Well she put her hands on you and you didn’t seem to mind it one bit and you was so intense and close to her… looked to me like you had some old feels coming back.

    Bette swallowed hard and breathed in a deep breath. Tina I don’t have any old feeling for her but she did have some for me. I see now a little more than I originally thought…she came here to try and get me back.

    Back? I thought she was just a fuck bubby?

    She was, but I must have left her with a different feeling the last time we were together. with hands on her hips, Looking down at the ground tilting her right heel back.

    Feelings Bette? Tina bends her head down some to get Bette to look at her.

    With a tearful voice…I was in a bad way, feeling like maybe I should just settle…I was drunk most the time I was there. She comforted me. But I swear to you I have nothing for her… I left there just as broken as I showed up…taking a shaky breath ….  Raising her voice…. My God Tina… breathing out…. I’ve been with a few women, and burnt some bridges which may come back to haunt me…and you.

    Bette reaches into the car for Tina’s purse riffles through it, something she would never do if she wasn’t so upset and in the bottom finding the ring, then throws the purse down…Read the inside inscription.

    Tina takes it from Bette’s shaking fingers staring at her, she knows she has stirred something in Bette she has never seen before .was it fury or is she that scared of losing me

    Tina reads…My soul… then tears roll down her face.

    Tina I told you…. I gave you all of me and I meant it…If you can’t get that through your pretty little head and trust me whole heartedly… shaking her head….don’t you put that ring back on. Tina knew Bette was serious. With that being said Bette walks around the front of the car and disappears back into the night club.

    6. Oh wow. Tina got some making up to do. Why rush out the club? If that is your woman…go get your woman. Don’t let someone be touching her and you don’t really know what’s going on so you rush out. FOH! Thanks for posting.

    7. Bette is right, with no trust, their relationship will not last.

      Tina seems to be very quick to jump to her own conclusions.

      Fight for her Tina! And make sure you trust Bette before you do that, earn that ring back!

    8. Great chapter, that Kennard temper better slow down. If Tina was that concerned about what was going on between Bette and Shy she should have walked over to see what they were saying. I mean does she really believe Bette would be getting close to someone else right out in public where she knew Tina could see her, she better get her head out of her ass and think about what she is about to lose if she is going to keeps letting that temper of hers flair out of control.

    10. I understand Tina, Bette scene with her ex overcame her.
      Promises are good, but actions are what count.
      Bette should take the place of Tina, or think how deep must have hurt her,
      that Tina decide to remove the ring.

      • I totally agree with you. Bette should have told Shy keep her hands to herself. Tina had every right to have that reaction, well maybe not exactly, maybe she should have walked over to them. Love this story.

    11. Love seeing more of you comment, and I agree Tina has to learn to slow her role on that temper.But I think Jalex understood the scene the best,. Thank you for seeing beyond and more into it. .There is always two sides, the act and the reaction.
