They had a separate living quarter in the back of the yard but no one slept there unless they had company.     I got scared even though I was the one who had brought it up. I wasn’t sure if I was ready because I worried about if our parents found out and how would I explain it…but we talked and agreed it would be a one-time thing…just to get the thoughts out of our minds and be done with it. We swore to each other we would never tell anyone. Bette stopped and was in thought with a smile..

      I remember my first time, it was a trip to heaven .
