Heather’s dream role is to be the first female Doctor Who. She played piano since she was little but learned to play guitar by herself. Heather loved The L Word and thought that Bette and Tina relationship was a true love relationship, and the drama was necessary because a lot of viewers would lose interest if it was all happiness and nothing else.

After L9 Heather had three small gigs at Glee Clubs and then the last big gig with her band in London on November 28^th, after which she will be working on producing her second album in the studio.

Heather just became a patron for Diversity Role Models organization. They didn’t tell her what her role is going to be yet but the organizations works on eliminating homophobia and bullying.

The biggest news was of Heather’s engagement to her girlfriend, Ellie. She showed us the ring, which was really beautiful and looked custom-made and told us how she proposed. It was very romantic. They were by the beach in Brighton and she had a plane fly by with the sign, “I love you, Ellie. Will you marry me?” Ellie said yes, of course. Heather joked that she hoped there were not many Ellies on the beach that day with their partners or they would think they were the ones who were proposed to.
