SHOWS THAT DIDN’T MAKE IT
There were several other dramas and comedies mentioned by FOX with a little to none information so I’m not entirely sure if there are pilots that were not picked up or new shows in development that will be picked up later in the season. Among the pilots that definitely failed to make the final cut was Iceland, a comedy about a couple played by Zach Gilford and Kerry Biche who are trying to move on after losing a loved one. The pilot script included a lesbian coming out story. Another pilot that was passed on by the network is Weekends at Bellevue, starring Janet McTeer and Lauren Ambrose that centers on the Bellevue Hospital psych ward.
The shows in development and hoped to get picked up later by FOX include comedy Family Album about a father (played by Mike O’Malley) who is trying to spend quality time with his family. Little in Common is another comedy about three diverse families whose lives became intertwined when the kids began playing in the same youth sports teams.
Another pilot that is scheduled to go into production in June is Touch that stars Kiefer Sutherland but it is unclear if it gets picked up later or if it was passed on by FOX. It centers on single father whose autistic son can predict events before they happen.
