    Patty: So it’s like that then.

    Abby nods with a smirk.

    Patty: Like what, are they havin’ some kinda spat about somethin’? They gettin’ married? Oh they better not get married without inviting us.

    Abby: Patty? Let’s not worry about all that right now.

    Patty: Holtzmann’s crushin’ hard on Gilbert, man. I just know it.

    Abby sighs.

    Abby: We don’t know anything. At least until they give us a wedding date.

    The two walk down the stairs, getting closer to the front exit.

    Patty: Hold up, I thought Erin was crushin’ on Kevin?

    Abby: Patty, Erin’s a little different from the rest of us. Kind of like Jillian. Kind of.

    Patty nods.

    Patty: Oh.

    Patty’s mind processes the implication further.

    Patty: Ohhhh! Yeah, I’m diggin’ that “love is love” thing.

    Abby: You are really determined to talk about this aren’t you?

    Patty: Hey man, I’ve been holdin’ that in for a few days now.

    As Abby and Patty exit, Jillian has helped Erin back up onto her bed after initially looking away to provide Erin a moment to adjust for modesty. Erin has also stopped the disc player in the T.V. and turned the T.V. itself off.

    Jillian: You alright now?

    Erin: Yeah, yeah. I’m fine. You?

    Jillian: A little weird. That’s nothing new though. If I were feeling normal, it would be time to worry. Now that I can leave, I’m not really in the mood to.

    Erin: We can order out.

    Jillian: That works.

    Erin: Um… by the way… I’m trying…

    Erin begins to blush.

    Erin: …Trying to remember where we were at before Abby-

    Jillian places both hands on Erin’s face and neck, her fingertips gently pressed against the ears, pulling Erin in. Their lips meet and initially Erin’s eyes are wide open before blinking and closing in acceptance as the kiss lingers.

    As the two slowly pull away from the kiss, their foreheads rest against one another momentarily. Erin then pulls her head away, Jillian’s hands still caressing her jawline. Their eyes open to face each other. Both begin to smile.

    Erin: That was worth… everything.

    Jillian nods.

    Jillian: Ditto.

    Erin: Is that a Ghost reference?

    Jillian: Patrick Swayze? Yeah, that’s where I learned that word. I mean that and those Hi and Lois comic strips. Maybe that should be a movie for us sometime.

    Erin: Okay, sure. I’ll be sure to bring tissues.

    Jillian: Nah it’s cool, I only cry during An American Tail.

    Erin: Um, they would just be for me then.

    Jillian: Oh. Well don’t worry we watch it then. I’ve got you.

    Jillian’s hands slide down Erin’s arms to meet her hands.

    Erin: Soooo… pizza?

    Jillian: Yeah we need food.

    Date night is just getting started.

    1. This is intriguing,maybe SPENGLER is a good spirit ghostbuster but did he have to invade JILLIAN’s body in order to talk.? The girls have advance notice about the evil ghosts that are coming, but love is in bloom so their minds are elsewhere. Cute couple JILLIAN/ERIN hope this lovebug doesn’t make them careless.thanks ps.
