He is back in his apartment, looking over various notes and blueprints, including one for the Mercado Hotel where word of a portal between his world and that of the ghost world temporarily existed. He has stated quite clearly not being afraid of any ghosts. What he is afraid of is whether the Ghostbusters have done a follow up at the Mercado.

Back at the firehouse, Jillian and Erin have made their way to the sleeping quarters. Jillian opens the top drawer of her cabinet and pulls out a sheet of paper. She hands the paper over to Erin, who looks down and sees what appear to be smiley faces surrounded by circles.

Jillian: At one point during the possession, I saw this. I couldn’t remember it immediately because of the shock, but I drew this about twenty minutes before you showed up. That’s when I remembered it.

Erin: You saw a bunch of ghosts smiling at you?

Jillian: No. The drawing’s a little crude, but it was like a room full of bubbles with people in them. I also saw different worlds… It was like looking into a window and seeing a bunch of different Earths. Kinda like that Crisis story, remember that?
