    Oh Frankie.

The three weeks flew past and Frankie had her new uniform ready for her first day at he new school, it was a bit posh she thought, wooden staircases and carved balconies. Her uniform was a kilt and white blouse a tie and a green jumper she hated it, at least in London she could have worn trousers at the high school.

Frankie’s first day did not go too well she didn’t like her form tutor, a loud brash man with a bauld head with a tuft of hair in the middle were his fringe once was and a circle around the back of his head.  He had called Frankie to the front of the class and made her tell them where she had come from he had scoffed at her accent.  She didn’t do bad though a girl in her class was also from out of the area. Kirsty was from Aberdeen and her parents had moved to Glasgow to work. Frankie had she sat next to one another in all of the lessons they had, not that there were many on the first day, most of it was taken up by learniing the school rules, their time table and showing them around the school. When she got home her Aunt asked her about her day, Karen was there too and both girls were relaxed and chatted about their day. Uncle Cameron came in from work at six and the house went silent.  Aunty Carol was running around fussing over him getting his dinner on the table and making him a cup of tea.  Once her had eaten then they were allowed to sit down for their own tea.  Frankie was starving, she had not had enough money to buy more than a sandwich and a drink at lunch, Kirsty had offered her a bag of crisps but she had refused.

Frankie settled down in school and she and Kirsty became good friends, it was during class one day just after Christmas that Frankie and Kirsty began to mess around throwing a pair of PE socks around the room when the teacher had her back to the class, they were unlucky enough to be seen through the window in the classroom door by another teacher who came in and told their class teacher.  She sent them to the head of year and they were given a detention the next night.  Whilst waiting outside the classroom for the teacher to finish with a pupil who was talking to her after class Frankie started peering under a poster stuck to the window that opened onto the corridor, standing by the desk was a girl with long dark hair tied back in a ponytail her eyes were dark and shining and her smile made Frankie gasp. “What’s up Frankie?” Kirsty turned towards her, she had been looking out of the window on to the field were Mr Byrne was taking football practice with the school team.  “Look at him, isn’t he a georgeous man?”  Frankie grunted but did not reply.  She was still looking through the gap between the poster and the wall into the classroom.  The girl was older than her she knew, she had seen her before but not taken much notice as she had always been surrounded by friends, they were in year 9 and Frankie being in year 7 was not even on her radar but Frankie realised that even when she wasn’t taking notice she had registered in her subconcious this stunning girl.
