She couldn’t form words, her face was pale, her head was bobbing back and forth heavily and her body started to give out.
I screamed her name and practically jumped to the bottom of the stairs in a giant leap trying to get to her before she hit the ground. In what felt like an instant Blake was leaning down next to me. My hands were shaking as I stared down at her.
“Call someone” I yelled
Blake hung up the phone and looked at me, “Ash you wreak of booze, you need mouth wash”
Her words didn’t phase me.
“Now!” she yelled pulling me up by my shirt and practically throwing me towards the bathroom
When I got back Kyla was hunched over Spencer, explaining what happened to her and why she was here. My heart dropped, she was coming to apologize, she heard everything I never wanted her to hear. I hated myself for allowing myself to get like that and what was worse was that Spencer witnessed it all. My weak side that I tried so hard to cover up with witty banter and an overconfident strut. She didn’t run like I expected her too, she was honest with me finally and when it was all said and done, she stayed around, hell she still fell in love with me.
“…I do want you, so much that it hurts…so much that I can’t breathe hence my anxiety attacks. I’m sorry that I made you think for a second that you don’t mean anything to me, that you aren’t worth it, that you’re not everything. I’m sorry that I’m causing you to fall back into drinking, I’m sorry that I’m in too deep to turn away from you and make it easier for the both of us, I’m sorry that I’m not strong.”
Her confession gave me hope, finally I knew what I meant to her. It didn’t mean that it was easy from then on out, because it only got harder.
The only thing besides Spencer’s blackouts and loosing her was disappointing people…Yeah that scares me as well, it’s in my blood and it happens effortlessly. She’s the words that come out easy when I’m speechless at best, she’s a beauty that is deeper than eyes can merely see, she’s the dream that hasn’t ended and I’m still anxious for the rest. She’s the closest thing to perfect and she’s the farthest thing from me. I could never do her justice. I didn’t lose her at first, but I had to let her go.

Oh, Amie, that was wonderful…just wonderful. I loved everything from Ashley’s pov, I loved learning about their relatonship now, their fake fighting, loved the Ash/Blake/Shannon prep scene! I smell the drama and it’s going to be amazing. Perfect! I’m so excited! Please don’t make me wait long, I’m dying to read more!

haha *sigh* that was absolutely wonderful! i loved it so much and how we got to learn of Ashleys thoughts and ordeals that had to do with their relationship…hehe loved the fake fighting and my favorite line was it was like I was watching an episode of Law and Order on a continuous loop, the only crime she was committing was stealing my heart…ahha tha one made me smile hehe great job =]
Wow! Honestly, that knocked my socks off and that was chapter 1? Just…wow! It was perfect and I got so much insight into Ashley’s side of the story and it’s added a whole new depth which I can see you expanding on…hopefully very soon?? I’m totally entranced so please can we have some more???
