    Bette – I didn’t doubt. But I wanted it to be your decision. I wanted you to come to me.

    Tina – What if I didn’t?

    The brunette smiles mischievously.

    Bette – Well, I had a plan B that I was about to enact when we met in the restaurant.

    Tina – Plan B?

    Bette – Yes … I was going to offer as many dinners as I could in my gallery and your invitations would require a personal RSVP to my phone number.

    The producer grins.

    Tina – Really?

    Bette – Yes.

    The blonde plays with her hand.

    Tina – What if I didn’t RSVP?

    Bette – Then I would have the perfect excuse to call you.

    Tina chuckles.

    Tina – Do you ever take no for an answer?

    Bette – I would but your eyes … they kept telling me yes.

    Tina – I couldn’t help myself.

    Bette wraps her hand around her neck and pulls her in for a kiss. They roll over and the blonde laughs.

    Tina – When did you first feel attracted to me?

    Bette – When? The first time I looked at you.

    Tina – Why?

    Bette – Because you are fucking gorgeous!

    The producer smiles shaking her head.  

    Tina – But you were always surrounded by very beautiful women.

    The brunette rolls her eyes.

    Tina – I saw them!

    Bette – But you had more than beauty. You had something else.

    Tina smiles inquisitively.

    Bette – I don’t know how to explain. The first time I saw you, your eyes … they just drew me in. And when we shook hands … it felt so good to touch you. I felt a strange connection with you from the first moment I met you.

    Tina – I felt it too! It was so different. I had never felt that kind of attraction for a woman.  And there I was with this extremely smart …

    She drops a soft kiss on the brunette’s lips.

    Tina – … dangerously charming …

    She gives Bette another soft kiss.

    Tina – … and amazingly beautiful brunette.

    She kisses the brunette yet again.  

    Tina – And your smile … I was lost!

    3. Loving this….Tina is so smitten. Bette seams to be allowing Tina to set the tempo for the relationship. Two nights in a row in Bette’s bed after a month of pursuit. Nice…. Bette has been amazingly patient. Tina’s parents being in North Carolina, it could take several months before they are told about Tina’s new relationship.

      Keep the chapters coming…. great story so far.

      It seems Mr. Kennard already figured out that his daughter likes Bette more than alone as friend. Glad to hear him say to Tina that she will always be his daughter.

      It is important that Tina takes the time and Bette let her, to come out to her friends and parents.

    5. Thanks for posting! I love your version of T + B’s beginning but I’m still anxious about Tina’s parents and their reaction to their daughter being in a relationship with a woman..

      Can’t wait for the next part.
