"Fire!"
Bette saw a glimpse of Shane in the trees before a wave of arrows whizzed through the air. Bette instinctively ducked her head, hearing the grunts and groans of the guards behind her. The guards behind her began to drop like flies, victims to the wave of arrows. The guards that weren’t hit continued to chase Bette, getting caught in all types of traps.
Some fell down a deep hole, others were hauled into the trees by ropes and the rest were bashed with giant logs that swung from the sides. Bette dove forward, rolling onto the ground just as Tasha cut a rope that was holding back another giant log. It came swinging full force, crashing into three Gooru and throwing them into the nearest tree.
The forest was madness, any stragglers became engaged in battle with Tasha, Shane and the small army that came rushing from all sides of the forest.
Yes, an army. Nikki wasn’t so bad after all.
A line of Motars emerged from their hiding spots in the bushes and crashed into the first enemy they saw. They zoomed by from the left and right as Bette jumped over the mess they left behind.
Bette ran straight for a large tree in front of her, two large dark Breeon soldiers hot on her tail. She was deep enough into the forest so she knew that she could finally join in the fight.
She ran up to the tree, jumping and taking two steps up the large trunk. She used the momentum to push off and flip backwards as the two Breeon breezed passed her, almost knocking into the tree themselves. Bette landed behind them and stabbed them both in the back of the throat at the same time.
She pulled out her swords and turned around to take on another opponent. She took down enemy after enemy with Tasha and Kit by her side, Shane was still in the trees shooting down as many enemies as she could with the help of her archer allies.

I cannot tell you how much I love this story.. cant wait for more!! I hope that Amy helping Tina isnt a trap to get jodi to notice her and praise her and love her… GO BETTE KICK JODI’S EVIL ASS! Thanks Liah for this amazing fantasy story.
Ow! I hope Tina can be rescued by Bette soon! before that, and I hope Amy isn’t as psychotic as Jodi to have some twisted plan of playing their game of love. Ugh Liah, can’t you see I’m on the edge already?? I only hang on hope here!! >_< ..... Lol.. Hopefully you'll update soon!! ;-) thanks for this wonderful update btw :-)

Awesome battle scenes, loved it. I hope Amy at least gets Tina to Bette before Jodi shows up. And I hope that Tina really has figured out whatever it is that can take Jodi down. Great work! Thank you :)

😱 OMG I almost missed this story. I get a little sad when I hear my favorite stories winding down. What a fun ride this was.
