Amy sighed, "She does things in her own way. I don’t always approve of her methods but everything she does has reason"

Tina was taken aback by the response, "There’s a reason for killing innocent people?"

Amy looked at her with wide eyes, "What innocent people?"

In her shock, Amy gripped Tina’s arm a little tighter and caused the Princess to wince. Amy then offered an apologetic smile to which Tina accepted.

"About a week ago . . she launched an attack on my castle. She killed a lot of my people and hurt those I’m really close to"

Amy put her head down, letting all the information sink in and not really knowing how to answer. She and Tina reached an area that led to the courtyard, the windows beside them were as high as the ceiling. There were two big winding staircases at the rear center of the room, one heading left and one, right. In the center were two big glass doorways that led to the courtyard.

Amy helped Tina lean against one of the railings of the staircase and turned away. She knew Jodi wasn’t as innocent as her lover had proclaimed but Amy still didn’t want to believe everything Tina was telling her.

"She couldn’t have . ." Amy whispered softly.

It was breaking Tina’s heart to see the look on Amy’s face but she still felt it necessary. If anything she hated Jodi more for ruining yet another life, poisoning the mind of such an innocent woman.

"Amy . . she’s not as innocent as she presents to you. She killed women and children"

Amy shut her eyes tightly, hoping that maybe it’ll block everything out. Maybe it would make everything Tina said not true.

"Stop" A faint whisper.

The more Amy resisted to give in to the truth, the more frustrated Tina became. Jodi didn’t deserve someone like Amy, she didn’t deserve to be cherished the way this woman obviously cherished her.

Tina pushed off the railing, ignoring the sharp pain running through her body. She took a shaky step toward Amy.

"Look at what she did to me. And do you know for what? Because the woman who loves me does not love her. What kind of person does that? She’s sick Amy. She’s a monster"
