    Keeping the party going.

    Tina: Yea, I’m lucky to have her too. God especially with the whole Helena and Henry things she hasn’t held a grudge and simply accepts our daughter. Honestly, as much as I had my challenges with your dad he raised two outstanding girls and I have to give him a lot of credit for that.

    Bette: Yes, we’re flawed, but underneath we are good people. He was so hard on us because he expected the best from us and for us and he tried to give us the best. We just disagreed as to what was best. Kit wanted her music career. I wanted you. Things have a way of working themselves out. I was devastated to find him ill and too stubborn to fight, but think I understand his choice. In the end we made peace with each other and he left us knowing that we were OK and would be OK. Now that I am a parent I get it.

    Tina: Yea, our priorities and perspectives have certainly been adjusted by that little person in the next room. I can only imagine what giving her a sibling will do for us.

    Bette: Well it will definitely test our patience. She hasn’t had to share so much so that will be an adjustment as well. Any way we better get a move on it. What do you want to do for dinner?

    Tina: I think Kit kind of took care of that for us.

    Bette: Yea, I guess you’re right. We’ll probably just have to make something different for Angelica. She ate well, but not sure we can get her to be so grown up two nights in a row.

    Tina: Well if she eats some salad or some of those veggies from last night I’ll let her have one of those frozen pizzas we keep. Her reward will be more cake so I think I can swing it. Are we doing a movie too?

    Bette: I was kind of thinking of the pool or shooting hoops with her so let’s pick something from our collection if we decide to do a movie later. Do we have popcorn in the house?

    Tina: Now you know I will not allow us to run out of popcorn and when I get pregnant I suggest you don’t either; it won’t be a pretty site if that craving intensifies. Grins and laughs as Bette rolls her eyes and rises from the bed.

    1. Loved this story, lwsho. They are a great family together especially when Bette can relax and let the love happen. Having another child will be wonderful for them and it will also help Angie, although she is almost too grown now, with her take charge personality. It is not necessarily in the genes, it is also the environment that shapes up into the people we become. If hr mother’s are anything to judge by she will be quite a young lady, beautiful, smart, loving and one hell of an alpha. Won’t she. This is fun and I enjoy it, although for some reason I smell trouble in the air. Tell me I’m wrong. If not, plese don’t let it be too serious. Happy New Year. Post when you can.

    2. lwshow2005, I LOVE ANGIE!!! I had some time after dinner to settle myself in front of the fire as it snows at the moment, and read this very generous post. I enjoy reading good fics that have Angie in them. They are usually written with such fun, love, and a lightness which can be very easy to indulge in. Can’t wait for baby #2!!!!!! :- )))) Happy New Year and can’t wait for the next chappy. Oh and btw, good selection for a movie.

    9. lwsho2005. i have been reading this story from the beginning, and i love it. Angie is DO flippin cute I can’t stand it! I wonder how she’ll react to not being the only child … hmmm. looking forward to the next chappy! Happy new year

    12. Dimples, thanks for reading and replying. I’ve been bumped off course and not sure if I’ll resume writing this one. At some point I may wrap it up with another chapter, but my author days may be over; kind of in a Fan Fic funk at the moment.
