    Keeping the party going.

    Tina: You have to wait until everyone gets a slice before you start eating Angelica. Can I get some milk too? Shares a knowing glance with Bette.

    Angelica: Aww, but she’ll serve it fast right?  In moments everyone has their slice and Angelica digs in including the extra icing Bette asked the server to put on her plate. Tina looked at Bette like she had three heads, but Angelica just beamed at her momma.

    Alice: Wow the cake is great too. I love the icing too PJ.

    Angelica: I told you it was good. Do you like it Momma?

    Bette: I love it Boo and it’s very pretty too.

    Angelica:  I helped pick the colors for the cake. I’m glad you like it.

    Bette: Well you did a great job. It’s pretty and delicious.

    Tina: Kit, you always take such good care of us, thank you. We love you so much.

    Kit: Well it’s a mutual feeling. Besides how often do I get to enjoy a wonderful, peaceful meal here with my family? My staff is doing a great job here.

    Bette: Well, sit back and enjoy you’ve certainly earned a chance to enjoy your own place.

    The DJ is now playing a set of slow songs.

    Bette: T, will you dance with me?

    Tina: Well, since it’s a slow song sure. You two have blown away the crowd so I think my fast dancing days with you are over.

    Kit: Yea right girl you’ll be back out there with your wife next week. Who are you kidding?

    Bette and Tina head out to the dance floor and begin a slow dance like many they’ve had in the past.

    Bette: This has been an unreal few days and this is a wonderful way to end it.

    Tina:  Yea it works for me too. You and Angelica were absolutely wonderful; Shane got it on video using the digital camera.

    Bette: Oh god, not sure I really want to watch us.

    Tina: Well, it was one of the most beautiful sites I’ve ever seen. My two girls lost in each other and the music and the crowd loving every moment of it. You have no idea how special you can make someone feel. You have this uncanny ability to make people feel like they are the only one in the world when you focus.

    1. Loved this story, lwsho. They are a great family together especially when Bette can relax and let the love happen. Having another child will be wonderful for them and it will also help Angie, although she is almost too grown now, with her take charge personality. It is not necessarily in the genes, it is also the environment that shapes up into the people we become. If hr mother’s are anything to judge by she will be quite a young lady, beautiful, smart, loving and one hell of an alpha. Won’t she. This is fun and I enjoy it, although for some reason I smell trouble in the air. Tell me I’m wrong. If not, plese don’t let it be too serious. Happy New Year. Post when you can.

    2. lwshow2005, I LOVE ANGIE!!! I had some time after dinner to settle myself in front of the fire as it snows at the moment, and read this very generous post. I enjoy reading good fics that have Angie in them. They are usually written with such fun, love, and a lightness which can be very easy to indulge in. Can’t wait for baby #2!!!!!! :- )))) Happy New Year and can’t wait for the next chappy. Oh and btw, good selection for a movie.

    9. lwsho2005. i have been reading this story from the beginning, and i love it. Angie is DO flippin cute I can’t stand it! I wonder how she’ll react to not being the only child … hmmm. looking forward to the next chappy! Happy new year

    12. Dimples, thanks for reading and replying. I’ve been bumped off course and not sure if I’ll resume writing this one. At some point I may wrap it up with another chapter, but my author days may be over; kind of in a Fan Fic funk at the moment.
