    B.I.T.C.H. Chapter 19: FOR A FEW SECONDS

Jodi: “it may be, perhaps she used a limousine from the company, I’ll go downstairs”

On the first floor, Jodi meets Kelly and Fay Buckley, they went to check Bette’s car, and the limos some of which were out, but Bette’s car was still there.

Fay Buckley: “why you think she isn’t there?”

Jodi: “she can’t be there, I was the whole afternoon watching and she didn’t leave through the front, she may have to use the back door; half an hour ago, her secretary told me she was already gone and closed the door, Bette can’t be there”

    Kelly: “agree totally”

Fay Buckley: “they could be there, you know…”

Jodi: “for how long, four or five hours straight, fucking? No, I know Bette, she’s quick”

Fay Buckley: “they may be doing, you know, again…”

Kelly: “they may, but it’s like a roller coaster with Bette, she takes you up and down, hard and fast, and then she leaves you”

Fay Buckley: “stop, don’t tell me more, please”

Jodi: “what are we gonna do now?”

Fay Buckley: “not a good day, and it’s hard to see if her office’s lights are on, let’s find another opportunity, I’ll call you over the weekend”

Jodi: “okay, I’ll wait for your call”

    Kelly: “bye”

Once Buckley left, Jodi and Kelly went back to the hall outside of Bette’s office.

Lincoln Square, West Side – Thursday – evening – Bette Porter’s office.

Finally, after a few hours, Bette and Tina are taking a shower in the brunette’s bathroom office, they dress and Bette checks her messages while Tina is collecting the purse and tablet in her office.

The brunette reads the message left by Maryann; perhaps she and Tina should be careful respect to Jodi, who now is her first candidate to be the snitch.

    Tina: “I’m ready”

Bette: “okay, I think we should leave through the back door”

Tina: “back door? Do you have a back door?”

Bette: “yup it goes directly to the freight elevator opposite to the hall”

    Tina: “okay, baby”

They left and went to the parking garage to take Bette’s car and drive to the Planet for a takeout. In the meantime, Jodi and Kelly were still waiting, until the cleaning crew came to do their job. Kelly confirmed through a cleaning boy that nobody was in the office; in their way out, Jodi wanted to confirm that Bette’s car was still in the garage, but big was her surprise finding that it wasn’t there.

    2. Oh no….Melvin is about to see Tina! This does not sound good. I still do not know why Melvin should not know that Tina is at the company, but that is what everyone including Bette has indicated. What a drama!!!

This was a very good chapter. Glad the girls got away from the bank without being detected. The plan worked well.

Now, what in the hell is Fay Buckley been up to? Buckley, Fremont and Learner have been trailing after Bette for six months. What are they up to? It appears that Aaron has been working for Buckley instead of the other way around.

This is an intriguing story and I want to know more. Thank you for this chapter and I hope the you can give us more soon.

      • Hi Martha:

Yes, we still don’t know what is the problem with Melvin seeing Tina, but the concern is different with Bette than with Kit and the old generation. Bette fears that her father will use Tina against her, but Kit, Peggy have other motivations to avoid Melvin to see Tina, that is taylored with Melvin and Maxine’s pasts.

Buckley is an important piece in this puzzle, and she will reveal something to Malvin very soon.

Thank you for reading and commenting.

    3. Hi proteonomics,

      What a fantastic chapter!

Glad the girls were out of the building before Melvin and his man got to the bank. They are so clever!

I am almost feeling sorry for Aaron, he surely will not survive this. So, he is the one working for Faye Buckley? We already knew Kelly and Jodi work for her. The bitches, i hope they get what they deserve. Stupid woman.

Please let Tina stay hidden from Melvin, they can’t meet. Melvin will do anything to protect him self and if he can use Tina to get Bette he will do it.

      Please update asap!

      • Hi Bibi:

I’m glad you like the chapter.

Yes, Tina should stay in the closet, but who is going to help her?

The good thing is that Bette is on her way to her office.

I believe that Aaron will survive, he is receiving a dose of his own concoction.

I hope to post soon the next chapter.

Thanks, my friend for reading and commenting.
