Tina trailed off for a second thinking “I know what you mean” she said not realizing Dana heard her
“Wait!” She exclaims grabbing Tina by the arm to stop her “What do you mean you know what I mean”
Tina rolled her eyes “Nothing Fairbanks”
“Are you seeing someone?” Dana asks with anticipation and Tina quickly shakes her head
“No. I’m not seeing anyone..But..” Tina was about to say but changed her mind “Nevermind” she says walking quickly to the elevator and pressing the button with Dana following behind her
“Oh no Dr. Kennard…You aren’t getting away from me that easily..Spill it” she says as the elevator doors open and they both step inside
“You are annoying you know that” Tina says exasperated
“Yeah but I’m also one of the few people you even converse with outside of your marriage here” Dana says sarcastically
Tina bursts out laughing “I can’t believe you just said that..She and I were both talking how we are both married to our work”
Dana raises an eyebrow “Oh?”
“Shut up” Tina says cutting her eyes over at Dana as the elevator doors open. The two exit and head toward the employee parking garage
“So who is she?” Dana asks smirking
Tina sighs “Fine. She is the architect that is designing the new medical center and my cancer research facility”
“You like her don’t you” Dana ask as they both proceed up the ramp to their cars
“It doesn’t matter if I like her”
“Why?” Dana asks and chuckles when Tina scoffs
“You really are annoying you know that” Tina sighs
“We have already established that..And you aren’t answering me so I can assume you really like her but you are hesitant on stepping over that professional boundary with her and you are scared that because of the hours you keep here at the hospital it will ultimately destroy any type of relationship you could possibly have like it did before with Diana. So instead of putting your heart out there to see what could be you would rather keep it locked up so you can wither away in loneliness wondering what might have been” Dana finishes as they come to a stop at Tina’s SUV
Tina stares at Dana for a moment and presses the button on her key fob to unlock the door. She opens it slinging her purse in the passenger seat and looks back at Dana

Things are progressing….nicely. Alice and Dana will have their first date and Bette and Tina will be working closely together on the construction of the cancer research center.
But I do see a time factor problem in both of their lives coming up… Particularly in the newly dating stage and the falling in love stage. They both are attracted to one another, but they have yet to see the possibilities of a real relationship.
Peggy is better from her last treatment and is to be treated later this week. I hope that Tina can pull a miracle out. I would hate to lose Peggy.

This is a really good story. I love your Tina and your Bette. They are already able to talk together so easily. Alice and Dana will make some mischief to be sure. And Peggy is a real spitfire. Looking forward to Bette and Tina meeting again. Nice job!

But i don’t see the way with her work shedule that Tina can have any relationship not now, not in the future where her schedule will be even more tight.
Just wanted to briefly comment that any romance is possible when two people work at it. It seems right now there is no room for a relationship to blossom for Bette and Tina but just hang in there and you will start to see how it evolves. This story is called Blueprints not just because Bette is an architect but because the plan for a romance is laid out and all they have to do is construct it piece by piece building it into something solid as they go along

So Alice &Dana are on a mission, To get Bette and Tina dating each other. That would be fun to read!
Tina is busy trying to stop Dana from talking to her about Bette and Tina’s atraction to her, saying she wants to keep it strictly business. They are both very busy busy and married to their work. Bette constantly saying to Tina she doesn’t have to apologize because she understand. I really hope they will eventually explore their atraction and work out a way to find the time to develop a healthy relationship.
I am happy Peggy is doing better, she is a fantastic woman, i love her!
“It’s strictly business. That’s where it needs to stay.” Ha! Can’t wait to see how long that will work for Tina and Bette. There is already some very friendly touching going on. Niiice.
