    Author Notes: I was looking through my postings here & noticed that this chapter was somehow missing from this novel, so I've reposted it to be included. It seems like ages ago since this story was first posted. I have edited the other chapters as well & am posting the entire novel on AO3 too. Thanks to all of you who have read the original posting of this story.
    Summary:
    What transpires on the actual day of the election.

    “You would still be interested in helping?” Bette’s eyes were now hopeful.

    “Trying to get rid of me already Porter?”

    “No, no, no.” Bette rolled over and pulled Tina with her. Tina landing directly on top of the brunette. “I just thought maybe you might have changed your mind with everything that’s happened the past two weeks.”

    “Just the opposite.” Tina leant down and kissed Bette. “I’m more determined than ever to help you and honor Kit. She meant so much to me too and I want to show my admiration for her and everything that she did to help others.”

    “Thank you.” Bette brushed Tina’s loose hair from her face. “She loved you too T, very much. She thought of you like a sister too.”

    Tear drops rolled down Tina’s face. Bette reached up and gently wiped them away.

    “I love you babe.”

    “I love you too honey. So much, so much.”

    “Kiss me.” Bette wrapped her left hand around Tina’s neck and brought her in close to capture her lips.

    “Moms?” Angie called out as she knocked on the door. “You guys up yet?”

    “What the hell is she doing up already?” Bette breathed out in disbelief and dropped her arms onto the bed. “You think she has a camera in here or something?”

    Tina just laughed into Bette’s PJ top.

    “Christ,” Bette started to laugh along with Tina. “It’s as bad as when she was a kid.”

    “Tell her we’re up.” Tina said as she slid over to her side of the bed to wipe her eyes.

    “Yes, Ang.” Bette raised her voice for their daughter to hear. “You can come in.”

    “Good morning moms.” Angie pounced into the room with a tray of coffee for her parents and a cup of tea for herself. She was charged with energy and excitement. “Thought you guys would need this.”

    “Ang, come here for a minute sweetie and sit with us.” Bette asked her daughter as Angie gave each parent a steaming mug of coffee.

    “Sure.” Ang smiled at both women. “You guys ready for today?”

    “Mmhm.” Tina blew into her mug to cool it down before taking a sip.

    “Yes.” Bette answered as she stared at her daughter. “But I have an important question for you.”

    3. love these two women as you have portrayed them – such selfish love for each other. No one else will ever fill the need- desire in them like they both do for each other.

      I really like the family scenes, especially when Angie is finding her way in the world and her two mom’s are there guiding her along.

        I’m okay – sorta!! Ha!!

        Looks like I have a small fracture in my right shoulder from a fall – oops!! And of course I’m right handed – ha!
        Hopefully I won’t need surgery – follow-up with surgeon in another week.

        Anyway, this was a repost of this original chapter – there are a lot more chapters to this story. They’re listed above in the drop down box. It disappeared from the original listing – not sure why, so I reposted it. So, take a look if you need to catch up to get through the epilogue & sequel chapters.

        The entire novel just needs a final chapter to complete the story.

        I’m actually posting an update to DOH by tomorrow – so look for that.

          Both rotator cuffs have been injured on my “earth suit” and an assortment of aches & pains are hollering a spoiled toddler . . . but what can I do???

            Thanks for asking.

            Fortunately, the doctor discovered that I actually didn’t have a torn cuff – it was a small bones fracture & extreme inflammation with my arthritis in that shoulder.

            So, the pain has decreased & I’m doing mild therapy. So far – good.

            Enjoy that black beauty!!
