    Chapter 22 – Thanksgiving Week

Bette:  Oh sweetie…. I can’t imagine any other choice I would make. I’d be lost without you. So, what are you planning on besides breakfast.

Tina: Well, I am somewhat flexible. I thought maybe you would like to have a nice massage, maybe a nice soak in the tub, perhaps a nice long love making session, followed by a nap?

Bette: Did you not get enough last night?

Tina:  You took care of me superbly, but I didn’t take care of you. I know you love being brought to orgasm just as a much as I do. And your body is so phenomenal and so responsive to my touch… and you are delicious.

Bette: Tina, you really are getting me turned on. Would you mind holding off just a little until I finish my breakfast. It really is good. Why am I so hungry?

Tina: I believe that you were rather vigorous last night in your love making. You expended a bit of energy and you need your energy replenished.

Bette: I really did enjoy our time together.  You are simply an amazing woman, Tina. The more time that passes, the happier I am that we decided that we were the best thing for each other.

Tina:  Like fine wine, we just get better with age.

Bette:  Why do you think that is?

Tina:  We come to realize what is important in life and what is a waste of time. Its foremost important to concentrate on that which is good and just let go of the things that are not so good. The not so good things are generally a waste of time.

Bette: But most of life is neither good nor bad…. It just is. It’s how we perceive it that makes it good or bad. And if something is bad enough to irritate us, we have to formulate a plan to get it out of our lives, or we need to adjust our lives to deal with it being in it.

Tina:  Oh, I see like getting old is a bad thing, but the alternative is an even worse thing.

Bette: Exactly. So, as we get older, we have to adjust our attitude to deal with it as being a part of our lives. We make adjustments to get assistance with things which will be stressful on our bodies, on our time and on our desired way of living. Fortunately, we have resources to take care of those things. And that makes getting older a little easier.

    1. Great solution for helping Suzanne. I also like the various positive ways for her to repay the loan. Maybe 10 years down the road as she repays the loan it gets distributed again. When she has paid it off they can tell her the truth and they all can create an on going scholarship for deserving Yalie with B & T millions!!!!

So, get writing those 10+ years.

      Thanks, I love your work!

    2. You do realize that Suzanne’s solution originated with the investigation of Melvin Porter? Its one of the things that I admire about Bette. She absorbs the nuggets of wisdom which appear from various sources. I do like the fact that Bette and Tina want to help Suzanne but do not want Suzanne to be aware of where this help is coming from. And with this solution, neither Angie nor Suzanne will be in a position of being obligated to the other. If for some reason, their friendship sours, Suzanne will keep her support. And if anything should happen that Bette and Tina do not survive until Suzanne finishes her education, the money will still be there to assist her.

I like Suzanne as a friend for Angie… I like that she has red hair and is studious like Angie and perhaps a little more so. Do not look for any romance ever between Angie and Suzanne… that is just not in the cards and it would be a disaster for both of them.

Thank you for reading and commenting… I appreciate you pointing out Suzanne’s solution.
